Velvet Guestroom 1
This large and stylish guest room has fantastic views over the canal and a warm and homely atmosphere. It has it's own private en-suite bathroom with shower, and all recently renovated.
It’s located only a couple of minutes walk from Central Station and Dam Square, but on a reasonably quite street just off the beaten track.
Breakfast can be provided by your friendly hosts, who also have a wealth of tourist information and ready to help you get the most out of your holiday.

La chambre d'hôte est très agréable, située en plein coeur d'Amsterdam, dans un quartier animé le vendredie t samedi soir, en bord de canal.
Les hôtes sont accueillants et chaleureux, le petit déjeuner est pris dans la chambre, il est servi dans des paniers déposés devant la porte de la chambre à l'heure qui vous convient. C'est très sympathique.
Un petit havre de paix, à la déco moderne.

We stayed in the Velvet Guestroom for a week in October. It is a lovely, very comfortable B&B; in a great position and the room has a wonderful canal view. The breakfasts were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David, the host, was very helpful and friendly. We will not hesitate to stay again.

Apartment has no kitchen, only a small fridge and a kettle. It's good. The kitchen is unnecessary because in the immediate vicinity there are many ways to fine dining at any time of day. I would not want to waste time while cooking. Host but served breakfast. Box with breakfast can be found at the door at the agreed time - very nice! The view from the windows of the oldest canal in amsterdam is great. The location is ideal for visiting amsterdam: 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, but it's typical romantic amsterdam, you want. Host David is very friendly and helpful. You will be in good hands and cozy apartment you will very like it.

Just an observation: this accommodation is not an apartment, but a B&B. That's why it doesn't have a kitchen. We have though apartments and studios with kitchens, whenever necessary.

The bedroom was very clean and confortable and it had all we need. The location is good too, very near the train station and near also to the center but in a quiet place with a romantic view. For a couple is the best way to stay in amsterdam!!

This apartment is close of the Central Station and the Red Light District (but not too close). The view on the canal is wonderful. The place is well kept and quite confortable. The staff is very friendly and made a extra effort to please us. Thanks.
