This two person studio Amsterdam apartment rental is located just two minutes walk from the Red Light District and Dam Square. The room is 25m2 and comes with a double bed, a separate bathroom, storage space and a mini fridge. Canal view house also offer possibilty of parking garage 25 euros per day ( please reserve in advance)

I stayed at the Canal View House III for 2 nights at the end of march. I was really impressed with the apartment. Plenty of bed space. There was a double bed, single bed and a sofa which was perfect as I went with a friend. Bathroom was clean and towels had been left. Heating was always on so room was nice a warm. Owners were very friendly and welcoming and then basically left us to it which was great. After staying at this flat I'm pretty sure I would never book a hotel in amsterdam again. I would definitely rent this flat again. The price was very fair and only a deposit was required at booking. The rest was paid on arrival. *** 5 stars. Would definitely recommend to and couple or friends. Not for families.

very dirty room , horrible stairs,bad service,the owner is very rude with loud voice ,internet is not working..me and my wife had to clean the room ourselfs..couldnt sleep from noise from the bar next door

The "room" (it wasn't an apartment) wasn't very clean. The TV which is clearly advertised was absent. Although there was a fridge, which was good, there was no kettle to make hot drinks, and no cooking facility. There was nothing to sit comfortably on either, or sleep on, as the "beds" consisted on one rickety old camp bed and a pile of old mattresses lumped beside it to make a double. Very uncomfortable. There was no linen on the bedding either, and the matress had stains. Very expensive for what you get (or rather don't get). Best thing about it was the view and location. Without that I don't think this place would do well at all.

I'm sorry that your experience of the Canal View House wasn't a positive one. It's listed as a studio and it doesn't have any cooking facilities in the property. However, there should have been a TV as well as linen and towels. Did you ask the local contact for this?
