This beautiful, newly furnished duplex apartment in the Pijp in Amsterdam is for rent for short and long periods. 2 bedrooms - 2 double beds and a double sofa bed will sleep six. A large open space living and the associated fully equipped kitchen allow for plenty of space (120m²).
The rooftop terrace (40m²) gives you great views over the Amsterdam rooftops. Besides two bedrooms and the sofa bed, there is a fully equipped bathroom, large bathtub and a separate shower room. In short all comfort is provided for.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it is a spacious apartment with a well equipped kitchen and free wifi throughout the apartment. The apartment is located close to the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum and it is possible to walk to the city centre (it takes about 20/30 minutes) but there are also trams close by that can take you to the main train station and Dam Square etc.
The only negatives we had about this apartment were:
-It is advertised a washer/dryer are available however when we asked about this on arrival we were told the washer/dryer is only used by housekeeping, so we couldn't use it.
-The shower wasn't working when we arrived and we were told to wait a day or so before we use it and to use the bath instead. The light in the shower also wasn't working during our stay.
-The stairs to the apartment. I wouldn't usually complain about stairs as it is to be expected in most European cities that you will have to take stairs to get to your room/apartment, however this is more of a warning for those who may struggle with stairs as there is about 3 very steep flights of stairs up to the apartment.

Thanks for your review and your stay in our apartment. The shower had a leakage just before your arrival we did some emergency repairs that had to dry out so yes we had to ask you to shower in the bathtub instead or we would have had to turn you away, which would have been even worse.
Concerning the stairs, it does have quite a bit of steps and looks impressive but it is the Amsterdam way to get to the topfloor :-), and it actually is a bit easier to walk than most tradition stairs.

El apartamento no está mal, es grande, ideal para grupos, pero llegamos y la ropa de camas, toallas etc. no la habÃan lavado, estaba tal como la dejaron los anteriores inquilinos, y en las habitaciones habÃa botellas de coca-cola medias llenas y pañuelos de papel que no se molestaron ni en recoger. Tuvimos que poner una lavadora y la secadora. No estarÃa de mas haberle pasado un paño a los muebles de la cocina.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We have a professional cleaning lady that cleans the apartment before each checkin and we then check on checkin with the guest if everything is satisfactory.
I do have to say that at checkin and again on checkout you were satisfied and had no negative comments. So again sorry you apparently feel it is necessary to leave a surprising negative review. -

The apartment is awesome, one of the nicest i've seen in amsterdam. The location (de pijp) is full of restaurants, cafes, bars and a local produce market - not too touristy but still very friendly.
The pictures don't do it justice, the place is pretty big - it comfortably sleeps 6 people (3 doubles). The living area is great - very airy, and the roof terrace give lovely views over the rooftops of the city.
The owner and manager are very friendly and easy to deal with. All payments and deposits were handled through paypal with no fuss, including a prompt deposit refund!

The place to be if you want to spend one week of vacation in amsterdam.
The location is perfect, very central with extended public transportation available.
The appartement is big enough for 6 people, high quality equipment & furniture (especially in the kitchen).
It is a magnifiscent duplex at the top of the building.

Amsterdam is a great city and we greatly enjoyed our staying! Great people and nice culture, as well as the cosyness of the boat cruises along the channels!
Our staying has been great thanks to this nice apartment too. The ideal llocation to visit the city. Clean and confortable, accessible to city center. I've liked the freedom you can enjoy in this kind of staying which is much more familiar and funny than a classic hotel.
I strongly advise you to visit amsterdam and to enjoy this flat! -
