Introduction

This beautiful, bright loft apartment is located on the P.C. Hooftstraat, the most exclusive shopping street. The P.C. Hooftstraat is right in the centre of Amsterdam and is part of Amsterdam Zuid, the more exclusive part of town.

The apartment is situated in the loft of a beautiful, and typically Dutch 18th century building. To reach the apartment you ascend three flights of stairs under the apartment there is a Roberto Botticelli shop. Covering the 3d and 4th floor, this apartment will host up to 6 people. The furnishing is in a very bright, modern style and the modern artworks give the apartment a very nice ambian...ce.

A special feature of this apartment is the rooftop terrace, a rare feat to be found in the centre of Amsterdam. It even has a view of the Rijksmuseum!

Interior

As mentioned above, the apartment covers two floors. The attic living room is very elegant with its fresh colour scheme, sloping walls and the original Dutch beams. These work well with the huge windows and tasteful designer furnishings. The lounge provides all the comfort you require, such as a beautiful 42-inch plasma TV, DVD and CD player with 5.1 surround, free Wi-Fi high speed internet connection, a very comfortable sofa as well as a double sleeper sofa with 2 single duvets. The room also contains a beautiful, large dining table. The lovely open kitchen will make you feel like Jamie Oliver as it is fully equipped with the best quality kitchenware. This beautifully designed kitchen contains a large hob stove with 4 gas cookers, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a blender, a juicer, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The master bedroom is also situated on the 3d floor. It is beautifully decorated and contains a large double bed (180cmx200cm) with 2 single duvets. The wrought iron bedposts, the design side tables and bed lamps create a beautiful whole, which is complemented by the flat screen TV and plenty of storage space.

The second bedroom contains a smaller double bed (160cmx200cm) with 2 single duvets. However, this bedroom, too, is elegantly decorated and also contains side tables, lamps and cabinets for storage.

The bathroom has a luxury bath/shower combination, 2 basins and hairdryer. It is decorated with white tiles and beautiful blue mosaic. The separate toilet is next to the bathroom.

The roof terrace is rather spacious. There is some furniture and it has great views of the Rijksmuseum and pretty city gardens.

The apartment is situated in the Museum Quarter and from your doorstep it is just minutes to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The Leidseplein is just around the corner and in this district you will find great restaurants, pubs, cinemas, theatres and the famous (official) Holland Casino. The apartment is also very close to the Spiegelkwartier, a district with numerous antique and art stores.

The apartment is easy to reach by the tramlines 2 and 5, stop: Hobbemastraat. With the same tramlines you will easily find yourself at some of Amsterdam’s most famous attractions like the Dam Square and the Anne Frank House.

Standard rate for 1- 4 people € 235 per night (rate is excluding 6% VAT and 5% toerist tax and will change per season/event/holiday)
Rate for extra person 5 and 6 : € 25 per person per night ( sleeps on double sleeper sofa in living)
€ 70 final cleaning fee is applied to the booking
€ 400 refundable security deposit is applied to the booking
40% Winter Discount (in December, January and February) Not valid during New Year's Eve from December 27 to January 3.
