Clean and modern apartment in central Amsterdam. Fantastic flat in an excellent location!
A living room with two couches, toilet, dining room and kitchen are on the lower floor. Two bedrooms, a large roof patio and a full toilet/shower/bathtub are on the top floor.
The 100+ square meter apartment is newly renovated, very clean, spacious and modern. It is fully furnished with all the things you need to be comfortable. Includes wireless internet, cable TV and all utilities.

In an amazing neighborhood, close to the center and next to some very lively bars, shops, and eateries. The flat is surrounded by Michelin star restaurants and fun pubs, but remains quiet inside at all hours. The Amstel river and canals are a stones throw away.

My wife, sister-in-law, and I stayed in this wonderful apartment over NYE. I have stayed in several apartments all over Europe and this was one of the most comfortable and covenient to date. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home! The apartment is well appointed and in a perfect location, we walked absolutely everywhere. If you are having trouble trying to decide on a place to stay, don't hesitate, you will love it. We can't wait to go back!

I stayed her last year over a long weekend and found every part of my stay amazing. I've been to the city close to 10 times and have stayed in a number of hotels. As much as I love amsterdam, most of the hotels are quite dreadful (and overpriced) in my experience.
This apartment, however, is perfect for several reasons. The layout is great, the apartment is super clean and nice, and the location couldn't be better. It's still very central and yet located in a quite neighborhood with several nice restaurants and cafe's nearby as well as a very nice market if you want to eat at the apartment. I really hope to stay here again sometime in the near future. -

The owner is very helpful with an open mind, you can see that he looks after the appartment very well.The flat is a modern 21st century home with a great roof terrace for the summer BBQ. There are lot of restaurants and shops around so everyone can find what they looking for.

The apartment is located in an excellent spot -- quiet but convenient. The kitchen is nicely equiped and the owner left excellent information about touring.
We enjoyed coming back and sitting in the living room with a glass of wine and sharing thoughts about each day. -

Fantastic "roomy" flat in a great location in amsterdam. Very clean and well maintained 3rd floor flat that will easily sleep 3 people (2 BDs). Plenty of towells for the 1-1/2 bath that worked out great for 2 traveling females. Full bath had a bathtub and shower and was very large. Large gourmet kitchen that had everything needed to prepare meals and was easy to figure out even though neither of us could read the Dutch manuals. Also has a washer and dryer which is a life saver and again easy to use. The living area was very roomy and comfortable, complete with TV, Sterio, and wireless internet, and several us adapters throughout the apartment, no need to bring your own. The location is fantastic close to bus stops and train. Very easy to walk anywhere in amsterdam and really no need to purchase a tram pass unless you simple don't like to walk. There are a couple of great markets within walking distance and restauants galore my favorite being Tempo Doelp just down the road from the flat, but make sure you make a reservation. Our Host was incredible from his quick response to my initial interest in renting his flat, providing all the answers to questions we had, providing recommendations for where to get the best cup of coffee to where to buy the cheapest essentials, etc, he even offered to cook lunch for us the day we arrived to pick up the key. All in all, yes I would stay at this flat again, it was a great trip and hope to come again and visit.

Where to start? Mel was a great host from start to finish. It was easy to contact him and he was very hospitable. We even had a slight emergency and Mel took my late-night call and helped us out. The apartment is located in a fun neighborhood in amsterdam. Easily accessible to everything. The apartment itself is immaculately clean and has more space than I expected. We had two staying comfortably, but you could fit a couple more. Basically, this apartment was the centerpiece of our amazing trip to amsterdam.
My advice: stay here.

I was in amsterdam for business, and this place offered me the opportunity to feel like a local in the comfort of a home close to everything. In less than a minute walk, there is a really nice restaurant and coffee place with really good croissant. In less than five, a grocery store and a tramway stop and in less than twenty almost everything! The apartment is in a quiet street and has everything you can possibly need. The owner was really helpful as my flight was 24hrs delayed and he was also easily reachable by email. I also really enjoyed the museum passes. I will surely stay there again!

This apartment is in a nice quiet location, yet is easy enough to get where you are going. The apartment is very nice. Paintings on the walls, wood floors and tile, and deck out back for those who want to chill outside or maybe even grill. The owner tries to accomodate you in any way he can, eg: wireless internet, washer/dryer, museum passes, plenty of tourist books, maps, etc.. I loved staying at this apartment and even though I didn't use the nice kitchen, it was nice to know if I wanted, it was there, with everything you need.
I walked everywhere in the city, so unfortunately I don't know how close the place is to the metro or light rail system for those of you that want to utilize that. Also, for those who have trouble walking up narrow stairs, you might have difficulty. It wa squite hilarious trying to walk to sets of stairs with my oversized bag but I managed.
I personally loved the place. It felt serene and after walking around the city all day, it was a nice place to come back to and relax. I would definitely stay here again. For those with small families or for those couples who are on holiday, this is a great place. For those of you who want to party all night at the apartment, I would not recommend. We need more of these places that are reasonably priced and beautiful to stay at. -

We were pleased with how clean and spacious the apartment was. It felt big compared to other places we have stayed. Everything inside had a "new" feel to it, and everything we needed was inside.
Everything worked, and the neighborhood was a joy to experience. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks.
