The accommodation is perfect for anyone considering a city break in amsterdam.
Accommodation is perfect with a large social kitchen which leads out of a window to a lovely seating area.
2 good size double bedroom
a large lounge which isnt needed as the kitchen is so good.
Then a luxury bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and massive walk in show.
Perfect location too... Only 2 mins from Central station and in the middle of town so you can walk, tram or canal bus across amsterdam!
Have stayed in many hotels but will Definitely stay here on the next trip to amsterdam! -

We were arriving earlier than the stated check-in time and this was no trouble at all. We texted Sheila, as requested, when we left Schipol airport via train for Centraal Station and met her in front of the (easily found) Victoria Hotel, from where she walked us the few minutes to our apartment. It was very centrally located for walking to most places and we would most certainly stay there again. The apartment was fitted with modern appliances and furniture. The two problems we found, were that the hot water in the shower did not get very hot (compared to the hot water in the basin tap in the same bathroom!), so we had all decided not to shower on the morning of our departure because we didn't want to be cold (it was chilly late winter when we were there). The second was that the free wi-fi mentioned was non-existent. None of us could log in to our iPads and make the essential communications home which we had hoped. Not a trainsmash for us as we were only staying two days and knew there was internet at our next destination, but not ideal if you are counting on it. We mentioned both problems to Sheila when she came to check us out at the end of our stay and, hopefully, she will ensure that something is done about them. We found the place very comfortable and perfect for our needs, especially as it was so central and far better for relaxing in at the end of the day, or before going out, than at a hotel. We would stay there again.

We recently stayed at this apartment and couldn't recommend it more to anyone wanting to stay right in the middle of amsterdam! 10 minute walk from the train station and any thing else you might need. The terrace bar is stunning, though may be problematic for some as to get to it you need to stand on a bench to get in and out, but a perfect sun trap to sit and relax.
We were greeted by Sheila who was very helpful and full of local advice and knowledge, as well as being lovely to talk to! She also provided a bottle of wine and a birthday cake for my fiance, which he fully appreciated! She appeared on the second morning to see how we were getting on, which was brilliant as she was able to help with the bath and other things we had queries with. On our last day she extended our check out as our flight was later in the day.
The place is inbetween two clubs, but we could only hear them if we were sat outside, and no noise from this came into the apartment.
If we ever visit amsterdam again then we will definatly be looking to book this apartment again! Thanks so much!

We have recently returned from our trip to amsterdam. Everything was perfect. Booking the apartment was easy. We were met and taken to the apartment. The apartment was amazing. The location was excellent and we could walk everywhere, or when we went a little further, the trams were close by. Everything went smoothly. In fact everything went perfectly - including the weather! When we go back to amsterdam, we will most certainly be staying at Dam Palace Duplex again! Big Thank you to all!

There aren't words how exceptional this apartment is. It is immaculate and perfectly appointed. The manager of the property, Sheila, is warm and welcoming and makes sure your stay is perfect. The location is very central. We recommend this place highly. You will not be disappointed.

Apartment was excellent. All you could ever want and the beds were so comfortable. Location is great as it is so central.
Sheila met us just opposite the railway station and walked us round to the apartment which only took 5 mins. She is a lovely person and so helpful.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to my friends.

The apartment was perfect and I can't say a single bad work about it. It was very clean and have everything we needed and more. Furnished to a very high standard, lots of space in a perfect location. Even the owner/manager of the property was very helpful and recommended some great places to eat.
We would without hesitation book this apartment again and recommend it to anyone else. -

This apartment is amazing, from the location to the modern decor to the sun terrace and the jacuzzi bath. Sheila met us, as planned, across from the ststion, walked us to the apartment within 6/7 mins and showed us about. She was friendly, knowledgable and was very happy to let us check in early and check out late.
I will always stay at this apartment when I visit amsterdam again. A little square within a 3 min walk of the apartment has bars, restaurants and coffee shops. As well as this any team headed towards the train station will petty much drop you at the end of the street. Above a pub and next door to a club yet no noise and the guys in the club next-door were so friendly.
If you read nothing else, go for the sun terrace alone. A little sun trap but with shade too and on a nice night, let's you sit out until the wee small hours. -

Wonderful duplex in the heart of the city making it so easy to access everything. 10 metres from the shopping street but nice and quiet at night.
Would highly recommend. Excellent facilities and comfortable home away from home. -

Fantastic apartment with perfect location! Clean and spacious, very well furnished, equipped and decorated, good beds and pillows, wifi, a lovely terrace with flowers and lights... we will definitely stay here again when in amsterdam the next time.
