This very light and spacious 65 square meter 1-bedroom apartment is located close to Leidseplein and the park. It has wide views, highspeed Wi-Fi, cosy fireplace and a private terrace.
Triangulated by the museum district, bustling Leidseplein and the Bohemian chique Jordaan area this apartment offers privacy right in the midst of it all. The direct surroundings of the apartment offer a wide range of restaurants, most with a very local atmosphere. The Leidseplein offers nightlife and theatres far enough not to hear them but at the same time close enough to walk to in about 5 minutes.

The apartment is located at a 5 minute walk to Leidseplein and the Vondelpark. The neighbourhood has a cosy local atmosphere and offers a wide variety of restaurants. Behind the apartmentblock is a carfree street with a playground for children and cute restaurants. Nightlife and theaters are at a 5 minute walking distance near Leidseplein, far enough not to hear it, but close enough to walk to. When walking towards Leidseplein you'll find a canalboat operator on your way and you pass by the Vondelpark (The Central Park of Amsterdam) a great place to read the newspaper in the morning and watch the sporty crowd go by. Biking is the best way to really submerge into the local culture. Bike rental is available at a 4 minute walk from the apartment. And the museum square is at a 15 minute walk.

We had a very pleasant stay in Canalhome while visiting amsterdam with kids.
The apartment is well situated. Close to the center, very close to a very nice park and in a quiet zone. You find there anything you need and the hosts are very welcoming.

Spacious flat with very helpful and friendly hosts. There were guide-books, maps and recommendations of local restaurants etc., many of them good recommendations. Well equipped kitchen, but we missed small plates. Large and well equipped livingroom, but with too few lamps. Large bedroom, but very hard bed and only one lamp by the bed. Very small bathroom without heating and with only cold water in the zink.
The flat has a good location: short distance to the city centre and in a nice neighbourhood. -

The apartment is lovely and very well equiped/presented with modern furniture and decor. We found nothing lacking and owners live directly upstairs which meant our late arrival time was no problem. Importantly, the apartment is in a great location, just a few mins walk from Leidseplein and the central areas of the city. We found the apartment perfect for our needs as a small family and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful (but not intrusive at any time). If you stay at the apartment we recommend taking the advice of Nurit and alex about local attractions and especially the local restaurants. As regular visitors to amsterdam we shall definitely be renting this apartment again in the future!

A large and spacious apartment 5 mintues away from city life. Everyone in our grouped loved the apartment. A modern kitchen with you everything that you need for your stay, and a little more. Big windows in the livingroom next to a lovley canal. Recommend this apartment for everyone that are planing a trip to amsterdam!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owners are very nice..even brought back 60 extra bucks we accidentally overpaid. And the location was close to everything. Just be prepared for the steep stairs with ur luggage.

We stayed for three wonderful nights at the canalhome. Nurit and alex are very friendly and helpful.
The appartment is very nice with a huge bed in the quiet bedroom, and a very confortable coach in the livin room? It's a bit more noisy to sleep in the living room since Nassaukade has traffic at night as well but it won't bother you if you're used to living in a city.
It was great to be able to use the wifi too.
The location is perfect, you just have to cross the bridge to be in the jordaan.
The museums and the wonderful vondelpark are also very near.
We came by car and found parking place very easily but beware that if you take the day ticket, it doesn't include night! So take the 24h one.Of course it is more expensive than parking outside the city and coming by public transport.
If you want to enjoy the city after checkout Nurit and alex offer to keep your luggage as they live just above the flat which can be very useful.
We would without doubt come again to canal home for our next stay in amsterdam

for it was the best time in amsterdam. that was my 4. travel to there. Nurit & alex were great persons. whenever we need something, they were so kind and helpful for us. I hope i will go again and stay there one more time. Also the canal home was so relax. large bedroom and living room make you relax with a wonderful canal view. Finally, enjoy with amsterdam & canal home.
