This spacious and elegantly furnished 19th century apartment is ideally located, right in the heart of trendy district De Pijp. The apartment is spotless and consists of spacious rooms en suite where you will find a very well equipped kitchen, a classy dining, a bathroom with bathtub, a television room and a sunny balcony. You will sleep heavenly on a CoCo-Mat bed. To make your stay comfortable we offer free WiFi, an iPod dock, a flat screen cable television and film on demand. This is a non-smoking apartment.   We stayed here during a really cold spell in March. It is conveniently located in De Pijp, right next to the 12 Tram stop and a short walk to albert Cuyp market and the tram stops for the 16 and 24. There are a large number of good neighbourhood restaurants along Ceintuurbaan as well as a couple of bars and a supermarket.
  
  The apartment is great for a couple. It is on the second floor with quite steep stairs so maybe not suited for someone who finds stairs a challenge. The owner lives in the flat above but we didn't hear the or the downstairs neighbours while we were there. There is a docking station to play your own iPod music and a Large TV with cable so plenty of choice of channels in English.
  
  The flat is well equipped, the owner leaves some supplies for you, including bread, butter, cheese, milk, jam, fruit and cooking stuff such as oils and herbs. The double bed is comfortable. If I have any complaint it's that they follow what seems to be a European tradition of having two single duvets on a double bed rather than a double duvet. There were plenty of towels available and the bathroom was large with a big bath and a shower over it. The owner is very hospitable.
  
  The flat has a slightly odd layout in that you enter into a living room before walking through to a second larger room with the sleeping area and a dining table. The TV is by the bed rather than in the living room. There is also a lovely balcony which gets the morning sun, and a well equipped kitchen. I realised that the owners probably kept the living area at the front rather than making it a separate sleeping area as the road is at the front although it is very, very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by the traffic or trams at all, even though we left the sliding separating doors open. But this meant we didn't really use the living area at all as if we were in we were watching TV or listening to music.
  
  Finally given that the weather was so chilly when we were there it was great being able to control the heating ourselves and there seemed to be continuous hot water. We would return here again for sure
