The Museum House is a charming one-bedroom apartment with a beautiful garden that can accommodate six guests.
This vacation apartment is ground floor and covers 65 sqm, with a garden of 40 sqm. The living room is nicely furnished with a large coffee table and 6 chairs, flat screen television, Wi-Fi, three large benches (also used as sofa beds) ideal for chilling out after a hard day exploring.
Game Box for adults and kids:
The big wooden box in the living room is filled with games such as: Chess, Checkers, Domino, Mikado, Memory, Poker cards.
We also have a box full of nice DVD’s for adult s and kids.... Such as the whole series of Lost, Ironman and much more.
The spacious, open kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and has all kitchenware you might need to cook for a large group.
There is 1 bedroom with a comfortable double bed and garden view. And there are 2 large double sofa beds in the living room + 1 single sofa bed for the one who needs more privacy. So in total there are 7 sleeps.
The apartment has one bathroom with a shower and sink. There is also a separate toilet with a sink.
We offer a personal check-in and check-out at the apartment and the host will provide you with one key per couple.
This apartment is located just a short the Museum District. The view from the apartment is that of the World Heritage Protected Central Canal Belt and the stunning canal houses that make the area what it is. Some of these houses, including Museum Van Loon, can be visited and provide a great insight into how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Golden Age. The Canal Belt is a charming area to walk around and is home to great cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. Just a short distance from the apartment is the Museum Quarter home to several of the city’s largest museums including the Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum and the Stedelijk Museum. The district is also home to the Concert Hall and numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. Vondel Park, the largest park in the city, isn’t far from the Museum District and is the perfect place to relax on a warm afternoon. Leidseplein is within walking distance and is one of Amsterdam’s nightlife hubs filled with bars, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and life music venues. If you are a beer lover, why not visit the former Heineken Brewery, just a short distance from the apartment and although it no longer brews beer, you can take the tour and learn the history of the brewery and beer itself. This apartment is located in the perfect position, with numerous attractions within walking distance and public transport links available for those places not reachable of foot.
SMOKING IS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE GARDEN, BUT SMOKING CANNABIS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Before 9 am and after 10 pm it is not allowed to make loud noise in the apartment and in the garden. It is not allowed to barbecue in the garden. So party groups are not welcome. We only want to accommodate guests who respect our house rules, because we care for our neighbors.

Early or late check in/out can be requested but is subject to availability and can be confirmed only 24 h before arrival.

Luggage storage before check in time or after check out time is 20 EUR for unlimited number of bags.
After making a booking it is not possible to ask for discounts due to less people staying in the apartment. If you want to add extra guests after making the booking, we charge 25 euro per person per night extra because of extra administration costs. The extra charge has to be paid in cash upon arrival.
From central station you can reach the apartment very easy with tram 16. You have to go off the tram at the stop Ruysdaelkade. From there you walk 25 meter back to the Hobbemakade. The apartment is on a 75 meters distance from this tram stop. A tram ticket costs 2.80 euro. You can buy this ticket in the tram.Read more
