I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment for 2 nights and can honestly say cannot find fault whatsoever, Mart met me basically as i left the taxi, location is perfect to all the main squares etc, The jacuzzi bath has to be seen to believed, Apartment decor was outstanding,
All in all a truly excellent accommodation and will definitely book for future trips,

This perfect apartment, hidden and quiet in the midst of all the action of amsterdam, allowed us to walk or take the tram anywhere we wanted to go.
Mart was a lovely and friendly host, appearing only to welcome us upon arrival and answer questions when we had them...and, his restaurant suggestions were stellar.
It is an easy two steps down to the studio apartment that had every modern convenience you may want and a comfy, dreamy bed!
We had a lovely time and will be back again.

Excellent studio flat located in a very central area. Great way to spend a stay in amsterdam, lots more room that a typical small hotel room. The property manager was very professional and helpful. Small kitchen and Nespresso machine come in handy for having breakfast. Bathroom is great although bathroom door is somewhat unusual. Overall, a very good experience.

Insbesondere die Lage der Wohnung ist ausgezeichnet. Sehr zentral, das Leben von amsterdam vor der Haustüre. Es ist sehr einfach zwischen den aktivitäten kurz "heim" zu gehen, ein wenig Ruhe zu tanken, zu sein und sich dann wieder ins amsterdamer outdoor Leben zu begeben.
Wir hatten acht Tage super Wetter, was unsere Laune natürlich entsprechend beeinflusst hat.
Die Wohnung und amsterdam haben sich von der besten Seite gezeigt.
Wir kommen wieder.

Just the best romantic weekend ever, Mart is the perfect host, the fridge was full of stuff, wine, champagne, etc, there was fruits, chocolate, coffee, the, everything you might need after a long walk in amsterdam.
Good Design, amazing bed, big tv but no use, the led lights are funny but this is gadget, the real "plus" is the huge "Spa bathtub" , here again with gadget, the little patio with the buddha offers a perfect sight when you wake up. I was quite curious about "living" on the ground floor, but here again that was actually perfect as far as Dutch people are not like french (i live in paris) staring at everyone.
The bose soundsystem is perfect too !!
The two very little inconvenients are the very little sink of the kitchen and the fact that even cigarette was not allowed in the flat even if you can easily handle it!
The price coherent regarding the luxury and comfort of the habitation.
The location is just perfect, not in the busy area, but not far from it , at a short distance walk from everything, museums, shops, restaurants, pub, coffee etc !
Would highly recommend it to everyone, especially for a romantic escape. -

Thank you Mart for a really great stay.
The apartment could not be in a better location. A group of friends went for a weekend. Mart stocked the fridge with some beers for the boys, and the apartment was perfect.
Mart was so helpful and we could call him anytime for advice and questions. We left on Sunday evening, but we had received the Sunday night free, so we did not have to check out of the room early bells on Sunday morning and hack our luggage around amsterdam for the day.

We spent New Years Eve at this cosy Place, and we really had a great time. Located in the Center of amsterdam but still not too loud, it was a perfect start to enter amsterdam by foot. The apartment is very special and shows an extraordinary taste. Especially the coloured lighted whirlpool was great! We would Love to come back...

To summarise, ABa had all it takes to make to make accommodation part of a great experience in amsterdam. It was easy and, most importantly, reassuring to get in touch over the phone with the owner, Mart, to get into the specifics of the overall conditions, location etc before making the booking. The apartment itself is located to offer easy access to the must see places (quite conveniently, we never had to venture more than 15-20 minutes on foot or by tram to visit any of the most popular spots) and the train station, but is most importantly abstracted away from the busier touristy areas of the very centre of the town, in a quiet, thoroughly old block dating back to 17-18th century and facing Singel canal.
Running the office just above the apartment, Mart kindly welcomed and showed us around in person. The apartment is roughly 40 sqm, with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette, tastefully designed in a modern open-space fashion. Some might find it a bit too open-spaced for the lack of a door separating the lounge and the bathroom (separated by design, of course), but surely it's a matter of taste. It's very clean, has heated underfloor and equipped with everything you might need.
We stayed there for a few days over Christmas and the outside was generally quiet.
Wi-Fi and access to a PC were free as well as a few complimentary niceties (coffee, chocolate, wine, beer, fruit etc - apparently, as a thank you for booking direct). Jacuzzi, adjustable lighting and fresh flowers were a nice touch. Thank you, Mart! -

It is a perfect place for vacation in amsterdam. It is slightly more expencive than most of the hotels, but service location and design compencate it.

We stayed in the "Suite" appartement for two and it was such a perfect stay. Mart the owner is very helpful and made the restaurant reservation for us.
The appartement is very "cosy" and decoration is very nice and modern. The location is perfect close to everything !
The bathroom is amazing with a spacious jacuzzi. The bed is a king size and is very comfortable !
I made my wedding proposal here and It was just the perfect appartment for it. We will definitely come back.

fashionable and comfortable. The owner is helpful. I like the location that is quiet as it's a bit off the main shopping area though easy to access there. There is an albert Heijin supermarket in 3 minutes walking distance and was really useful. Complementary welcoming wines, champagnes, chocolates were delightful and selected with good taste.
The linens are changed every three days.
The only point I was worried about was that the bathtub was a little bit noisy and smelly when it cleans up itself automatically after we used it. But we could stop it by ourselves so not a big problem. except for that, everything was great. -

We stayed a total of 5 nights at aBa and absolutely loved the experience. Our apartment is split level and it commands a enviable view of the singel canal. All the appliances and fittings are first class and the place is very tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and quiet as it is at the back of the building. The location is also second to none with numerous cafes, transport and tourist attraction right at your doorstep. the place was stock with nice fruit basket, chocholate and nice alcohol beverages :)
Mart is extremely professional and efficient. He booked nice restaurant for us on short notice and was easily contactable ( his office is onsite). Nothing is too troublesome for him ( including storing our luggage and meeting us at the station with it!)
Our stay was definitely memorable and we will give it 11/10 if we could! -

Rarely felt that much at home in a foreign city as I did the 8 days at this lovely appartement.
Located right in the middle of the heart of amsterdam, you can reach every place in amsterdam Centrum by feet in a few minutes
The apartement itself is simply lovely ... and if you ever have a cold and rainy day in amsterdam (what tends to happen) then you will know how cozy and relaxing it is to use the lifecoloured jacuzzi and dream under the stars ;-)
For me its clear, whenever I will go back to amsterdam (and I surely will) then I know where I will be at home there. -

The apartment is situated in a lovely part of amsterdam, close enough to all the sights but very chilled if you want to take a break from the crowds. The apartment itself is spacious, modern and very well equipped. The bathroom is especially nice. Mart is a great host and the cost of the apartment compares favourably against the higher end hotels in amsterdam. We would happily return.

Mart was an absolute delight to work with. He made check in/out seamless and was extremely friendly. He even booked us reservations at an excellent restaurant, Envy. The apartment is centrally located, has great amenities, is perfectly decorated and has a jetted tub to soak in after a long day of sightseeing. Mart has done an excellent job in creating a beautiful, fun and relaxing space for guest to enjoy. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Amsterdam is a magnificent city of many views, so location was key to our stay. Of course it wasn't hard finding a great apt, at a great location, with outstanding service and yet at an affordable price! We were welcomed warm heartedly and felt right at home. Everything was clean, internet was lightning fast (WiFi as well) espresso machine, and many neat features! Great for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. Definitely see ourselves back in the future.

We travelled to amsterdam with our 1 year old son and wanted to find a nice place to stay since we would be spending some time at "home" in the evenings. Mart is a fantastically friendly and helpful host. Whatever we needed help with he was there to help us out. We felt so at home in the appartment - which is super clean, spacious, comfortable and stylish. You are in the middle of the city with everything you need at your doorstep. Cosy bars, restaurants, shopping, grocery-store etc. We had a wonderfully fun and romantic extended weekend and would definetely stay here again if (when) we return to amsterdam. Whether you travel with or without kids - this is your perfect pick for a lovely stay!!

This place was excellent. If location means something to you then this is the place. Minutes walk from restaurants, bakeries, bars and coffee shops, easy walking distance to the museums and almost any other place you want to go.
The reservation and check in process was easy and left no questions, Mart is a true professional. He helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations, museum tickets and area information, like having your own personal concierge.
The apartment was perfectly clean, and completely comfortable. Great bath, internet connection, computer and TV (not sure why you'd want to stay in and watch TV while in amsterdam), the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was just right.
Wish we could have stayed a few weeks longer!

My husband and I decided to take a vacation with one of the stops being amsterdam. We decided to rent an apartment. This was the best decision we could have made. The apartment was great. It was modern, clean, and a great value. The location was excellent and right off the canal. You could walk from the apartment to all the major attractions.
Mart was great and very friendly. He was very attentive from the beginning. He welcomed us before we even rang his doorbell. He made sure we had everything we needed and was available to us if needed.
My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves in amsterdam. If we were to travel back to amsterdam, which we plan on doing, we will definitley like to stay at the amsterdam Boutique apartments.
This was a wonderful find. -

We love amsterdam and visit often. Amsterdam Boutique apartments are much better than a standard hotel. Large, comfortable, well appointed and fully stocked with everything you will need during your stay in amsterdam. This newly remodeled unit with modern decor includes a kitchen, computer, wi fi, flat screen TV, extra large jacuzzi tub with additional shower and more. You couldn't ask for a better location. Located on Singel canal it is close enough to all the action without being in the middle of it. Mart, the proprietor, was extremely responsive to our requests. He managed to line up a late afternoon in room massage for my wife and I with short notice and I must say it was one of the better massages I have ever received. Yes, unlike most rooms in Europe, this room had more than enough room for a massage table!
I highly recommend amsterdam Boutique apartments next time you visit amsterdam. I'm sure this will not be our last visit to this unique property. -

I highly recommend amsterdam Boutique apartments. The location is great - on a canal and right next to a tram stop. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Lots of great restaurants in that area too. The apartment itself is very large and well done, and Mart was very helpful with any questions we had.

This garden apartment is a great value alternative to a hotel room in amsterdam. It is centrally located on the Singel Canal and is roomy and stylishly decorated. A great base for exploring amsterdam. My one minor complaint is that it was a bit stuffy, ie not much air circulation. All in all, though, I rank it above similar priced amsterdam hotels I've stayed in

The apartment is very well outfitted and a pleasure to stay in. For longer stays I would suggest a further arrangement for cleaning the apartment is made as it was unusual for me to come back after the first day to find the bed unmade.

I realized that it could be a good way to say thank you to people who does very good job to make you fall in love with amsterdam.
Perfect location, very trendy interior, clean and cozy... It is just about apartment itself. But most incredible are people who run this business. They are always in held of absolutely everything you might need. They love this city and they want you to love it!

This is a very nice apartment which beats every hotel room we have ever stayed at.
The room is large with a compact kitchen, comfortable king size bed, dining table, sofa and a desk complete with a Windows XP workstation with Internet and itunes playing through compact Bose sound system. The Bose system has a connection to accept your own mp3 player.
The bathroom includes double wash basins, a Jacuzzi spa and a rain shower head and a flexible shower head.
The kitchen includes a fridge, electric jug, toaster, microwave oven, espresso machine and all the utensils and crockery anyone would need.
Complimentary fresh fruit, chocolates and drinks are a nice touch which helps make a stay much more enjoyable. Plus fresh flowers in all the rooms.
The location of this apartment is very central in amsterdam yet in a quiet location and there is virtually no noise to disturb you during the night.
It is around a 5 to 10 minute walk to the central rail station or china town or the red light district. Dimmable lights, black out blinds, IP telephone, LCD TV, DVD Player, an extensive range of tea and more, the list of features you will enjoy while staying at amsterdam Boutique apartments is extensive.
Highly recommended and if this apartment is available and within your budget we doubt you will find better. -

Our Trip to amsterdam was wonderful! After Delay on our flight Mart was there and we checked in late at night! Great Service by the way!
Location is beautiful! Bed and Bathroom were gorgeous!
Everything is pretty near to the apartment so u don't have to take a cap, u can walk by foot!
Nothing else to say... Great days in amsterdam!

If you ask me to choose from five stars for the apartment .. I gave seven!!! It is located in the center of the city and it is an ideal start for all your city tours. Forget all the hotels, better try this beautiful and extraordinary apartment and I promise, you will never forget your amsterdam visit. My wife immediately fell in love with the Buddha statue in the little atrium. So no doubt: if we come back to amsterdam we will surely rent this apartment again.

Not only was this our first time to Amsterdam, but also our first trip to Europe. We are so excited we stumbled on this lodging in our extensive search for the perfect place for us to celebrate out 30th Anniversary! Couldn't have asked for better location, amenities, and service! Located on the quiet and scenic Singel Canal and close to everything! From the jetted tub, robes, fridge stocked with drinks and fruit, fresh flowers, espresso machine and comfy bedding it was first class all the way. Mart was the perfect host! We would highly recommend this apartment!
Only negative was limited closet space and no bureau to unpack clothing. But that was a minimal inconvenience with all the other extras!

Ich habe mit meinem Partner ein Wochenende in Amsterdam verbracht und konnte zu Gast sein im Amsterdam Boutique Apartement an der Singel 401. Das Appartment liegt an der romantischen Singel Gracht und ist untergebracht in einem der schicken Herrenhaeuser von Amsterdam. Es liegt zentral, 1 min vom Blumenmarkt, 1 min von den Shoppingstrassen und dennoch fuehlt man sich trotz der zentralsten Lage geborgen und komfortabel untergebracht. Das Interieur ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, stilvoll, das Jacuzzi mit dem Sternenhimmel laedt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein nach einem Tag voller Besichtigungen. Morgens einen Nespresso zubereiten, noch gemuetlich den Tag planen und schon ist man wieder im pulsierenden Zentrum von Amsterdam. Wir koennen das Hotel allen weiterempfehlen, die im Amsterdam Zentrum weilen wollen und doch auf Luxus, entspannte und ruhige Atmosphaere und Gemuetlichkeit nicht verzichten wollen. Wir werden auf alle Faelle wieder hier zurueckkommen - eine wunderbare Unterkunft, in der man sich willkommen und wohl fuehlt.

The location was great and quiet, next to the SINGLE-gracht. And around the corner are any shops you need. The appartment was designet very well,stylish. Bed very contortable...and cozy

Do you really want to pay twice the price just for the benefit of being served?
I'm sure what to tell you after a stay in this amazing apartment that fits with
the modern way of travels. You feel like being part of Amsterdam. In addition
all modern advantages are included. The "what else" touch, the jacuzzi and the
decoration will make you feel like fabulous...
And the service is maybe better than in some other places called hotels... You
really feel like being someone here

We stayed for the weekend in this wonderful apartment and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is fully equipped, with extraordinary and modern design. The place is stylish, yet cosy and just made for couples who want to have a romantic stay in the heart of amsterdam. For the yoga lovers: Yoga mats are provided and the apartment is spatious enough to go for some asanas. Overall, I would stay at the apartment anytime again.

A big Thank You to Mart and Klaas who made our stay unforgettable. You
guys really made us felling welcomed! Providing the apartment with free
drinks from the fridge, fresh fruits and flowers, we felt like home sweet
home.
Private Yoga Class or a Massage after shopping without going out? No
problem! Just let them know and they will organize it for you! The spacious
apartment itself was very neat and tidy.
We loved bathing in the colorful bubbling Jacuzzi while looking at the
mystic cosmos at the the ceiling. The Design of the washbasins are unique
and Koi fishes on the wall remembered us of the positive Japanese symbol
of Good Luck. Also the Buddha garden with a huge ancient Buddha head
glamorizes a beautiful view.
I really enjoyed the big choice of latest magazines with a fresh cup of coffee
on the designed couch for relaxing. No matter if it is cold or warm in
incalculable Amsterdam, your feet stay warm due to floor heating.
To make it short:
We had such a good time at Amsterdam Boutique Apartment! Definitely
recommendable! Two thumbs up!!
