This lovely studio is located in a typical Amsterdam street close to the Museum square and around the corner of the Spiegelgracht, which is well-known for its antique shops and galleries.

Apartment

The studio apartment is situated on the lower ground floor of an characteristic 17th century building. The living area features a double bed, a comfortable couch, a dining table and a flat screen TV. The bathroom with shower and tub is nicely decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, a microwave oven and SMEG fridge.

Additional Location Information

Take a step outside and treat yourself to some Dutch pancakes or a refreshing drink on the terrace during the spring and summer days. The famous Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are very close. So is the Spiegelgracht with its galleries and antique shops.The vibrant nightlife of the Leidse square is just a five minute walk. The area "˜De Pijp’ with many bars and restaurants is nearby, as is the famous Heineken brewery.

  I was looking for a hotel-room/apartment for 3 nights during the Queen's day and found this great apartment which is located right in front of rieks museum (one of the best locations).
  The apartment is pretty very big for 2 people and it is very clean. For such an apartment in such a great location, the price was more than fare (especially for such an expensive period - Queen's day)!
  And something about the service - these guys were very nice & professional.
  Thanks for a great vacation!

  Tweede Weteringdwarsstraat Basement Studio amsterdam is the Best

  I stayed in the Weteringdwarsstraat Studio managed by Short Stay (Stay amsterdam) for a week in april 2011. I had found another review by someone who had said that finding the place was a nightmare, despite the people in the office trying to assist. We contacted the office prior to arriving and sorted out exactly where the studio was (there was some hassle because they still didn't know which street it was (Tweede) but when I arrived I had no trouble checking in. This basement studio is superbly situated with a cafe right outside the front door, and is not far from the bars in Leidseplein, antique shops, Vondel Park, and the Museum quarter. It was incredibly comfortable and had everything I needed. Be warned, if you are not comfortable with having windows that don't open, don't stay here. However, the door opens at the top like a stable door, and that was fine for me. And with the door shut, I didn't hear any of the cafe patrons sitting outside the front door (the cafe opens at 11 and shuts around 10 at night. There is a bit of noise from the floor above, which you can't avoid being in a basement. Also being a basement studio there was not much natural light, but there were plenty of wall and table lamps, and skylight in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

  Confusion

  Home was OK but no window access. Windows would not open. Reception was a joke...Wrong address , wrong keys,,, could not find apartment. Took two hours with help of your staff to find the apartment. Even your staff Ould not find it. But apartment was good location and good facilities.
