Saint Louis, MissouriOutstanding home, perfect for large family with everything you c
Left on 03/25/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This home was the perfect place for our family group of ten to stay during our Disneyland vacation. The space is large and offered enough sleeping space for two couples, two single adults, and four kiddos (with the baby in the pack-n-play). It is very comfortable and Frances, the owner, has thought of everything you might need (thank you Frances!). The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. She also had basic food supplies there, and we were able to eat breakfast the first morning before we got to the store. The kids loved picking grapefruit and oranges from the trees in the backyard for breakfast. There are three bathrooms with plentiful towels, and the beds were all comfortable. The jacuzzi was a great place to sit and soak after walking all day long. Strollers were available for us to use, and the kids enjoyed the toys in the toy closet. Frances has made a book of information that tells you everything you need to know - from getting to Disneyland to finding a grocery store to restaurant recommendations. You can walk to Disneyland from this house. Everything about our experience here was positive, everyone in the family loved the place, and we highly recommend it for a family vacation!

Quality home, great value, fantastic for groups or extended fami
Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in January 2013
If you are looking for a luxurious home away from home for a group, within walking distance of Disneyland, then look no further than Frances' home. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 (6 adults, 3 children). Easy to come together or find your own space. The home was so well set up, from every conceivable utensil in the kitchen to top quality products in all three bathrooms (down to a hair dryer, curler and straightener in all bathrooms as well as the main bedroom). We thoroughly enjoyed the chocolates on the tiered plate left by Frances to welcome us to her home. There were enough supplies in the cupboards to keep us going until we were able to do a shop. Everything from tea towels to sheets and towels, lounges to beds, all were top quality. One of our regrets was that we ran out of time to enjoy the yard, jacuzzi and citrus fruit on the trees! Thank you Frances, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Salt Lake City, UtahGreat place for a large extended family
Left on 12/29/2012 for a stay in May 2010
We loved having enough space for the family to be together but also to have your own room to disappear to at night. We traveled with two families each with young children who all bunked up together. Each family had their own bathroom and Grandma & Grandpa slept on the double bed in the area with the foosball table (in all honesty this can't really be considered a bed room. Yes there is room to sleep but no privacy. It's in a public part of the house and only separated by a flimsy wicker room divider). Great yard for the kids to run around in after a day at the park. The walk is a little far for tiered feet, but the home itself was perfectly comfortable.

We stayed here for 8 nights it was nice to come home and be able to have home cooked meals. The kitchen is absolutely stocked with everything you would ever need. Disneyland is about a 12-15 minute walk to the tram. I found that when I walked right from the house to the main enterance it took me 18-20 minutes. Sometimes waiting for the tram took longer. Frances was very kind and helpful with any information we inquired. The hot tub was a plus after long days of walking. Our daughter loved this house, there were a lot of toys, books, and room to run. She didn't want to leave. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Frances has a personal touch in every room of the house. We would love to come back again in the future. Thank-you again.

Tucson, AZExceptional service; great place to stay
Left on 09/06/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family of 8 stayed at this property for our Disneyland vacation and had a fantastic time. The home is clean, comfortable, and has every amenity you can think of. We have six children ages 10-17, and this home has enough room, and something for everyone! One of our daughters was sick and we needed a prescription called in for her. Frances provided us with the phone number for a local pharmacy and, she even went to pick the prescription up for us because we got into town late that evening. She even stocked the fridge with a gallon of milk for us so we could have cereal in the morning! The home is a short walk to the Disney theme parks and was a great place to come home to every night. I didn't want to stay at a hotel and preferred my family stay together. This home exceeded my expectations and was a great value. If we had stayed in a hotel, we would have paid the same price, but we would have been separated as we would have had to purchase two rooms. I was much happier that we all could stay in this home together with much more privacy and all the comforts of home. Frances and John are wonderful hosts and have paid attention to every detail in this lovely home. We truly enjoyed staying here for our family vacation and look forward to coming back again.

We travel every year to Disney from Texas with our family. The hotel experience had us not impressed. We were going to purchase a DVC membership. But our daughter found Frances house on the internet and said lets give it a try before signing with DVC. All I can say is wow! From the moment you drive up it is breath taking! The fine details from a sitting room filled with books and memorbilia of Disney to a kitchen I am going to duplicate once we start remodeling our kitchen! If you forgot conditioner, sunscreen, strollers, detergent no worries it is all there! We loved it and will be back..Our 4 year old son asks constantly now when are we going back to our rental home!

We loved staying here at Frances home. The house was beautiful, clean and a perfect place to come home to after spending all day at Disney. There was plenty of room for our family of 8. All the kids, ages 3-14 had plenty of room and enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball, video's, hot tub and books! We read the Little Known Facts about Disney the night before we went to the park and learned some secrets to ask the Cast Members. A definite, easy, read for park goers.
The kitchen has everything you need, and then some. There are table settings ranging from paper products up to very nice dishes! All utensils, small appliances, pots and pans, etc. are provided.
Walking to Disney was so easy and convenient. Beautiful walk.
The neighborhood is amazingly quiet and beautiful. France's house is well maintained. Beautiful inside and out. We loved the backyard, so relaxing. Our only complaint? The avocados weren't ripe. :)
Thank you, Frances, for a wonderful and memorable trip to Disneyland for our family! -

I worried that reviews of Frances' property were going to give me unrealistically high expectations - but it is true that in the 8 days we stayed in this home we felt like they had truly thought of everything.
We stayed there with another family, 4 adults, kids were 14, 13, 10, 10, 7, 4, and 1) and we never felt crowded! The bedrooms are generous and the 3 bathrooms made getting ready for bed or getting ready in the morning so easy!
Frances met us at the home to give us a tour - she was so gracious as she welcomed us! There was all you need for your first day or so until you can get to the store. My husband commented about how whenever we tried to find something we needed, we would look where we would have it at home, and voila, it was usually there! Try to find a utensil that is not in the drawers! From vegetable peeler to ice cream scoop, it's all there!
The house was stocked with many small appliances, we even utilized the crock-pot once so that when we got home from Disney there was a hot meal waiting! There were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. My 4 year old said more than once how nice Mrs. Frances was to have this or that in her home for us (look for a book about a Hippos bellybutton)...and you can't coerce that. The home is beautifully decorated as well so you feel like you are staying in luxury!
The location is amazing! We did come home on 2 of our days at Disney for lunch and it couldn't have been easier. We traveled to Sea World, Universal, Hollywood and Santa Monica as part of our vacation and it was easy to get everywhere. There are many stores nearby, Wal-mart, Costco, and grocery stores like albertson's. Frances and John have even compiled a binder of information about the area, with maps on how to get to the closest stores and info about restaurants and spa services.
I wish I could give them higher than 5 stars on service - this home made my first trip to California so comfortable and relaxing

What a beautiful and well-stocked home this is! Frances made us feel welcome and special from our very first contact. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need for meal preparation. There were 8 of us staying in the home -- 6 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 6. The open floor plan, generous bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms, made getting ready for, and resting after, each day's adventure so very easy. This is definitely the place to stay when visiting Disneyland and California adventure! Thank you, Frances and John!

All in all, we really enjoyed our trip. This home has everything you can think of and more. The owner decorated the home for the holiday season, and it was beautifully done. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. We all slept incredibly well in the very comfortable beds. This is really a great place to stay. Not only a convenient place to stay for Disney, but close to I-5 and easy to get to the beaches, la, or Hollywood. Our family agrees that if we're ever in this area again, this is the home we'll stay at. Such a great residence.

Left on 11/29/2011 for a stay in November 2011
This home was beautiful and had all the amenities you could want. Our family gathered here to enjoy Thanksgiving together and also visit Disneyland. We had 5 adults and 3 children and plenty of space for everyone. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The backyard was gorgeous and our children enjoyed the waterfall and the fruit trees. Our children (ages 2,4,6) had plenty of toys and games to keep them busy while we were at the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and things you would have in your own home to cook with. Frances made our welcome all the more special with a Thanksgiving dessert in the refrigerator upon our arrival and sweet candies on the table along with fresh fruit.
The convenience to Disneyland was wonderful and we also drove into la to do a little shopping during the weekend. Frances was extremely helpful through the whole process of renting and staying at the house. Would highly recommend to others. -

Left on 11/24/2011 for a stay in November 2011
The house is ideally located, just 15 minutes walk to Downtown Disney. Everything in the house was just spot on. Beds were comfy with plenty of blankets if needed and nice soft pillows and mattresses. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the cooking implements that you may need. Beautiful yard and gardens with a very attractive jacuzzi if you have time.
The house easily accommodated two couples, a single and two children. With that group, the house still felt quite spacious.
Frances made us feel so welcome on arrival and made sure that we knew how to get to Disneyland and to the different supermarkets, shops and restaurants. She also made sure that we had milk and cereal for the first few mornings with a plentiful supply of chocolates for our stay.
We will certainly stay here when we are next in anaheim and recommend this to anyone.

I wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your lovely home. One of the things we really like is the open floor plan that allows us to gather as a family after our long days at the parks. A number of times throughout our stay I said to myself, "Frances has thought of everything!" You anticipate what is needed and also what would be an added bonus and you put that into the mix as well. The walk to Downtown Disney to catch the Monorail into the park is a great way to avoid the crowds and not hassle with parking. I can't imagine our group wanting to stay any other place when we make our treks to Disneyland. And the chocolate kisses are a hit with everyone! Thanks again until next time!

This vacation home made our vacation perfect. There was none of the stress of wondering what you're going to get when you get there. From our first contact with Frances until we arrived, everything was perfect, even the small things you don't expect or think would be provided was at the home. Not to mention the easy walk to Disney really saves on parking. We spent a week at Disney and the hot tub sure made it nice after a long day. I could go on and on but the gist of it is that if you are looking at this home don't hesitate! Thank you Frances!

Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We rented this home for the second time in the last year and a half and are sure to be back over the coming years. We made the long drive from Northern California with extended family (6 adults, 5 children ages 5-9). This home was absolutely perfect for our group! Frances seems to have thought of every detail possible to make the stay perfect. We spend many nights soaking in the hot tub after long days of walking through the park. The kids really enjoyed the foos-ball table, ping pong table, and the Nintendo Game cube as well. We were never short of things to keep us occupied or just relaxed. A few of the real positives to this property... Short walk (10-15 minutes leisurely) to the Disneyland tram (that takes you to the front gates). Great for multiple families or extended family. You have the ability to save money by preparing meals, packing lunches, etc to take to the park or eat at home (grocery store is less than a mile away). Tankless water heater was great for allowing all 3 showers to be used in the morning so we could get out the door. Really there are so many to list, but most of all the ease of renting from Frances, and her sweet/kind personality. She is a plethora of information and advice to make your stay just perfect. She has gone above and beyond in so many ways, you will not be disappointed by staying here!!!
