Le Petit Village nestles in the rolling countryside between the Chablis and Côte De Nuits vineyards, in the medieval village of Fulvy in the Yonne department. Spring Cottage is a charming 18th Century barn complete with flagstone flooring, restored to provide all modern comforts. It sleeps 4 adults in 2 bedrooms, both en suite, and has a fully equipped kitchen and two modern bathrooms. We also have cots and additional beds available for families and a selection of children's indoor and outdoor toys and games. The open plan living and dining area offers free wifi and British and French tv. The cottage has its own beautiful 100 foot garden, pe...rfect for sunbathing, and there is outdoor furniture and barbeque equipment for leisurely evening meals in the long summer nights. The gîte has shared use of a secluded 32’ x 14’ heated swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and shrubs. Fulvy is a medieval village surrounded by beautiful pasture, arable land and forests. The river Armancon and the Burgundy canal run by the village, which is mid-way between the major wine growing areas of Chablis in the north and Cote De Beaune and Cote De Nuits in the south. We are surrounded by by beautiful chateaux, charming villages, and world class historical sites like the Abbey De Fontenay. There are many things to do to suit all ages and tastes, including horse riding, cycling, golf, and cultural and social events throughout the year.

  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Spring Cottage. Annabella and Nick were the perfect hosts and did a great job of recommending local treats and sharing their knowledge of the area.
  
  Chablis was lovely and the market was great fun. We also enjoyed walks along the canal and enjoying the food and good wine.
  
  We are definitely planning to go back.

  It's even better than it looks in the pictures

  Spent a marvelous vacation in the Coach House (the slightly bigger counterpart of the Spring Cottage) in Le Petit Vlage.
  The place looks in reality even better than the pictures. Cottage was well maintained and well equipped and the private garden with apple orchard was a delight. The surrounding country is beautiful and having the canal 5 min walk from the cottage is a treat we enjoyed for relaxed morning / afternoon strolls.
  
  With no offense to the French, having British hosts that spoke fluent English was a delight. We enjoyed warm hospitality that included a lot of tips on what to do in the area as well as a variety of kiddy toys for your girl.
  
  Don't miss on the option of delivery of fresh pastries to your door step.
