Description from the owner
Lavenda Breeze is an extraordinary villa on the fantastic island of Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. Anegada lies 12 miles north of Virgin Gorda and Tortola and is the most remote of the BVIs. It looks different, too: totally flat, non-volcanic and protected by miles and miles of fish-filled coral reef. Anegada's 15 contiguous miles of pristine, undeveloped white sand beaches are delectable.
Lavenda Breeze is located right on famous Loblolly Bay, one of the five best snorkeling beaches in the Caribbean*. People hardly have words to describe the beauty of the beach. On TripAdvisor one visitor wrote "Loblolly Bay...a little piece of...Read more

This is the perfect house on the perfect beach on the perfect reef. A sheer joy to stay here. The house is very well designed to accommodate a large group and it is very well maintained. The reef has the best snorkeling of the entire area: sea turtles, rays and an abundance of reef fish. The coral is thriving. The wild flamingos on an inland pond are magnificent.

Myerstown, PA9 plus yearly visits!

If your ideal vacation is playing golf or tennis, going shopping, and dining at 4-star resturants, this is probably not the place for you; however, if you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy the beautiful, pristine ocean and beaches, explore the local culture, all from a beautiful home on the beach, this may be your spot
.
We have travelled the Caribbean for almost 30 years, but the last 9 years have been to anegada and Lavenda Breeze. Previous to the building of Lavenda Breeze (LB), we occasionally visited anegada on day trips from other islands. We loved the beautiful soft coral beaches and laid back atmosphere. We always lamented that there was no place on the island that fit our needs. Lb changed all of that. The beautiful beaches, the wonderful snorkeling among the reefs right at your door step, the long walks in the evening by the ocean without a soul in sight, all of this from a beautiful and functional home, right on the beach!.
One of the reasons we keep returning LB is that you can enjoy the beauty of being on the beach yet be in the shade and comfort of a beautiful Caribbean lanai. There are some nice eating places around the island, including a good beach bar at the end of Loblolly Bay, but we enjoy taking advantage of the great kitchen at LB. The provisioning can be a challenge, but there are two small grocery stores on the island and you can order via the internet from the large provisionary on the main island of Tortola. They'll put your order on the ferry. You can go to the ferry dock on the opposite side of the island and mingle with the locals as they await the ferry!
All-in-all, Lavenda Breeze is rare place of beauty and privacy to be cherished in this ever more hectic world!

Bradenton, FLThis villa validates the saying, "location, location, location."

My wife and I have vacationed at many tropical locations in the world and Lavenda Breeze exceeded all our expectations. Soft trade winds blew 24/7 and the views of the secluded beach and the crashing of the surf on the offshore reef lulled us to sleep each night.
The owners have installed a system that makes advance provisioning painless and if one wishes to dine out there are several restaurants on this small island that will welcome guests with a smile and local fare that will please anyone's palate.
Lavenda Breeze is not for the partying, gambling or cruise ship crowd. Rather it is designed for those who wish to re-charge their batteries, read in solitude or snorkel in pristine, tropical waters. We are going back! -

I first visited anegada in 1997, before Lavenda Breeze existed and was stunned by the beauty, tranquility and remoteness of this little-known corral atoll in the otherwise well-traveled British Virgin Islands. Anegada is characterized by wonderful people, jaw-dropping miles of empty beaches, nature, and simplicity. Most accomodations on the island are basic and clean, but Lavenda Breeze is a high-end villa set in a very private beachfront location. Expect total relaxation, and great comfort. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and feels like "home" almost upon arrival. This is one of the most special Caribbean hideaways imagineable. It's worth booking years in advance, as we do now.

I have been in search of the perfect island for almost thirty years. I have probably visited more than twenty islands--the South Pacific, Hawaii, and many in the Carribean. My ideal is the well cared for house with modern amenities, on the perfect beach, surrounded by nature and seclusion. I found it all at Lavenda Breeze!

We spent 10 nights on the beautiful Island of anegada. Lavenda Breeze was by far the best choice we could have made. We would love to come back to enjoy the breezes, the snorkling, and the lobster. The best snorkling is in front of Lavenda and just up the shore a bit. Restaurants are expensive, especially if you desire lobster. The most affordable lobster is bought off the pier and cooked at home. Lavenda Breeze is very quiet and pristine. Don't need much, so don't bring much; just time, good weather, and good company! Many good memories. Enjoy.
