The Farmhouse is located in the hills that divide Tuscany and Umbria and is surrounded by a natural park with different kinds of coniferous trees, roses, lavenders and much more.

Perfect for your holiday with all the family or friends. A spacious house with 4 bedrooms which accommodates comfortably up to 9 people.

It has a big living room, a comfortable dining room with a 10 seating table and a modern kitchen with dinette area. Patio with outside table, chairs, barbecue and big private garden. Everything melt with modern art objects.

  This review is for La Scheggia di Stefania- Fagianaia, which is a three bedroomed, one bathroomed villa on the Fattoria next to the larger property.
  Firstly, this is not the "Chianti-shire" region of Tuscany, it is more forested and the hills make for a wonderful backdrop to the theme of the unspoilt Tuscan holiday. It's height above sea-level (some 500m-plus) makes the air temperature a little more bearable on those warm summer days, (we noted a 4 degree Centigrade difference between arezzo and the location one day, so you never feel overwhelmed by the heat).
  The villa is perched right on the top of the Fattoria, which means you have the best views towards the Tiber Valley, and best privacy. It has a patio and importantly a vine-shaded pergola so you can have your meals out of the sun. The accommodation was of high quality, the furnishings blending with the rustic architecture of the villa, and it was clean and comfortable too. For us it was great that there is no TV, ensuring our boys of 12 to 15 years of age had to resort to using their initiative to occupy themselves during the day. Swimming pool, (shared), was great to cool off in, diving board and deep end made it better fun.
  The things we think could have made it even better, (and we are splitting some hairs here); would be the charges for linen- at 60 Euros we felt we could have had a change of towels half way through the week, similarly the cleaning at 65 Euro could have attracted a quick mop and brush up half way through the week (we'd have done it ourselves but there was no equipment). We wanted to explore things like horse riding, cycling, walking etc. in the hills but there was no-one or nothing on hand to explain where to go, so if the owners could just have given us a short brief when we checked in that would have enhanced the welcome. But, hey, this is fabulous location, safe, friendly and is a great base to do Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortuna, Umbria, all within an hour. Anghiari, the local town is a delight and was my imagined ideal of a hilltop town oozing character, and that's where you'll get most of the local shops and restaurants. Overall "Bellisimo", folks, so go enjoy!!
