The Heron unit at the Blue Dolphin Inn, located at 404 Alamanda in the Historic Village of Anna Maria is a wonderful two bedroom, two bath upstairs unit furnished in a tropical theme. The Blue Dolphin Inn consists of four units surrounding a free style heated pool with fountains and nearby tiki table. The Blue Dolphin Inn is located about one half block from the beach access path and it's just a short stroll to the Rod and Reel Pier for fishing enthusiasts. I was there for 6 weeks and absolutely love the location. Being there that long I feel that I should have had a decent mop and some windex. The unit is fine, I bring items from home and lots of flowers to warm it up a bit. It is a very comfortable place but all four units are dark and could use more lighting.. This is a lovely place and a fabulous location. I wish they would allow small dogs.
I am looking forward to coming back to tHe Blue Dolphin Inn next year.

we enjoyed our second stay at the blue dolphin. the unit has a great floorplan, huge porch and was very nicely appointed and decorated. everything was new and comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed and every appliance. washer and dryer and most furniture new, unit was freshly painted and tastefully decorated. location was superb.
