  This house was so great in so many ways, it's hard to know where to start. First off, I'm picky. I research our vacation stays months in advance. I make sure the place is cared for, clean, up-to-date, etc. This house was all this and more. The pool and backyard are just gorgeous. The yard is extremely private, and beautifully landscaped. The pool, although on the small side, is perfect for 4 to 6 people, and our kids just loved it. They swam all the time - before breakfast, after dinner, and at night. In fact, we had a hard time getting them to go anywhere else, because the yard and pool are so inviting. This was fine with us, as it gave us a chance to relax, read and just really get into "island time".
  The house is located on the north end of the island - IMO the nicest part. It is walking distance to the beach (about 10 minutes), and I believe pretty close to Pine St. (the main shopping area in the north end) although we ended up not walking there.
  The only suggestion I would make is for the house to have beach chairs and umbrella readily available at the house when guests arrive. We arrived on a Saturday, and on Sunday, as we were preparing to go to the beach, we found that there were no chairs or umbrella. The management office is closed on Sundays, so we had to wait until Monday to call. Eventually someone from the rental office brought us 4 chairs on Monday afternoon. They informed us that they do not provide beach umbrellas as they tend to break easily. By then, two beach days had gone by (when you're only staying for a week, two days is a lot), and we had not been able to fully enjoy the beach - trust me, you need an umbrella if you're going to the beach in July - it gets hot! It would have been nicer if the beach chairs and umbrella had already been there waiting for us at the house. Even if the management company had charged us for the umbrella (which is only $11.00).
  This is a small point and only a suggestion as to how the rental could be improved. Other than that, we loved the house, and would definitely stay there again.
