The Azure Seas is a glorious three bedroom, two bath Gulf front home located at 779 North Shore Drive in the much desired and tranquil northern end of Anna Maria Island. Tropical paradise found!! This is the perfect place to forget your troubles and soak in the unbelievable views of the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful property, very comfortable home with stunning views! We stayed at the azure Seas during the week of our daughter's wedding at the Sandbar. House is very well furnished, kitchen has everything necessary plus, comfortable beds, sand toys, outside grill, great laundry area, great outside shower, & even has a land line for local calls (this came in handy with anna Maria's spotty cell service). The pictures in the listing only try to do justice to the incredible view & private dock area. Enjoyed some incredible meals on the patio area watching the glorious sunsets! The joy of watching dolphins play, pelicans dive, green parrots in the trees & general "beach therapy" is phenomenal! Two small steps were easy for my handicapped self (Ra) to maneuver & the fact it is one of the few ground story homes on the island makes it a big plus! Highly recommend the "Azure Seas"...

I'm hesitant to review the property for one reason only...that it will be more difficult for me to find availability for it moving forward.
We rented this property as others that we wanted to rent had already been taken this Spring Break. I didn't expect much as the outside pictures of the house make it look 'small'. I'd never visited anna Maria Island either and really didn't know what to expect.
When we arrived at the house to start our vacation, I was anxious. It is close to the house on it's left, and this isn't shown in the pictures. But you could see the possible view from the driveway and my excitement increased. When we walked into the house I was really blown away. It is much larger than it looks. There is some wasted space where hallways are too large, but the depth of the house really surprised me.
It is pretty dark on the inside, but that is due to the nautical feel and the darker walls in a couple of rooms. The kitchen was very large, as is the master bedroom. The other two bedrooms were average size and more than enough room for my family. The living area is really neat, but not big. The furniture is somewhat dated in the living area, and not the most comfortable to sit on. But who cares?! It's all about the view and the beach...and boy does this house deliver.
Walking out the back of the house, you have the most spectacular views of the Gulf. It is impossible to describe except to say the pictures are spot on. Walk out to the extended porch and you are uninterrupted 240 degree views of the beach and Gulf. The beach is spectacular with stingrays, dolphins, and wildlife. There is little activity on the beach as well so it's very private. 5 stars isn't enough for the beach views on this house.
The island is nice, but there was not a lot to do near the property. That was fine for us though as we spent every hour on the beach!

Everything about azure Seas was amazing. I honestly believe it has got to be one of the best beach houses on all of anna Maria Island. Simply put, the pictures do not do the house, yard, and beach justice; the deck out by the water is enormous, and the inside of the house was larger and more updated than expected too. There was a large laundry room, an outside shower, and a beautiful master bedroom/bathroom (with the best view in the whole house). The house is also situated perfectly to walk either north or south on the beach, collect shells, and/or watch dolphins swimming.
The only negatives were ants in the kitchen, being questioned about how many people were staying at the house, and the rental agency forgetting that we were having a vow renewal ceremony on the property, which was discussed ahead of time - as they were the ones who recommended azure Seas for such an event. I would like to say, 'they were absolutely correct along those lines'. It was perfect for a vow renewal/wedding event - there was even enough parking for guests! If not for those mixups (which we were able to talk through) it would have been 5 out of 5. Outstanding property!

The house itself is an absolute dream house - brilliant views to the gulf and the home itself is a little bit old but comfortable and well equipped. So all could be perfect if the house would be serviced by an excellent vacation rental company.
But this is exactly the problem, the vacation rental company we choose - Island Vacation Properties LLC - extremely underperforms. It was the second and last time we rented with them, because also the first rental with them at Club Bamboo, Holmes Beach, was poor.
We are used by other rental companies that they get instantly in contact with you after your arrival if you are satisfied and no problems are existing. This service doesn't exist at Island Vacation Properties LLC.
The maintenance condition of the home was a disaster. The yard was not maintained for weeks, all was covered with old leaves and nothing was proper outside in the yard. The windows have not been cleaned for month, so we cleaned the windows for enjoying the breathtaking views. Island Vacation Properties LLC tries to tell us that all windows were cleaned prior to our arrival and a big storm caused the blind windows! We had to of them during our stay and the windows stayed shiny and good!
The air condition is so loud, that it is awakening you some times during the night because it is very near to the master bedroom and a second bedroom. We don't reclaim this, because it could not be fixed during our stay.
The dishwasher is broken - all dishes have to be cleaned by hand. The kitchen is full of small little bugs, Pest control seems not to have been here for a long time.
Island Vacation Properties LLC is offering the poorest service we ever have seen on aMI! Because we have rented on aMI over 20 times we cannot suggest being with Island Vacation Properties LLC. We at Island Vacation Properties were pleased that you enjoyed Azure Seas during your recent stay. It is unfortunate that you experienced some issues. As soon as we were made aware of the dishwasher issue, we sent a repairman who made the repair. We were unaware of any further issues with the dishwasher from that point on. With regard to the bugs, the home is sprayed by a professional pest control company and we will follow up with them on this issue – it is typically a non issue! As for the windows – which were professionally cleaned less than a week prior to your arrival, there was storm that was out of our control. We pride ourselves on customer service and hope we have the opportunity to host you again!

My family felt like we had died and gone to heaven. Water crashing on the rocks, birds settling on our deck and dolphins swimming by every single day. The beds were comfortable; views from even the kitchen; friendly cleaning service and matineance crew; TV in everyroom(which helped with football days);friendly owners next door; and we felt like we had our own private beach. This house provides a fabulous beach vacation at a great price.

The house itself was practical. Fine for two families or one big family. Outstanding terrasse that invited for relaxing days and evenings and to view the sunset. Overall nice location on the beautiful gulf coast.
