Situated in Annecy's bustling downtown, Magic Moments Apart' is only 400 meters away from the railway and bus stations. Annecy's old city is a 15 minute walk and it's famous lake is a ½ walk following a beautiful path along the Thiou River and canals.
Completely renovated, the apartment features one bathroom, 2 bedrooms, the WC and an open kitchen, dining and living room area. Large bay windows open on to a terrace.
Its 4 star comfort will offer you relaxation and peacefulness right in Annecy's downtown district. AC in all the apartment.
The apartment is fully furnished with brand new appliances: flat screen LCD TV, Freebox Wi-Fi, Blue Ray, JBL OnBeat Venue LT speaker dock, convertible sofa for children, washer, dishwasher, coffee makers (traditional and Italian), micro-wave oven, induction stove, traditional oven, blender/mixer, slow cooker, fridge with freezer unit, hairdryer, Rain Forest shower, towel rack dryer, vacuum, Raclette & Pierrade appliances, etc. A convertible sofa allows for extra sleeping (1 adult or 2 children). Towels and linens are provided.
This 4th floor penthouse apartment boasts a large 48 sq. meter terrace overlooking the Thiou River and it's majestic trees. This huge terrace has a secluded dining area with a beautifully tiled ceramic table, wrought iron chairs and nice shading. You can also sit in the lounging chairs and enjoy the panoramic view or sunbath.
A private indoor parking space in the apartment block's basement is included in the price. Then a lift takes you directly from the indoor parking or the apartment block's main entrance to the flat.
The major highway is only a 7-minute drive; the airport is 10 km away. You can leisurely walk to Annecy's famous castle, the old city and lake by following the pretty Thiou promenade.
Restaurants, boutiques, stores, bakeries, gyms, … everything is within walking distance. Numerous parks for children are found nearby. In the apartment you will find maps and information on Annecy and it's beautiful mountainous region.
The apartment's unique location offers all of downtown's conveniences without the noise!

Reservation Terms :
No reservations are taken without a valid credit card number.
25% is due at time of booking and will be kept if there is a cancellation or a change in the reservation.
The remainder is due on arrival but can be paid before.
Guarantee Terms :
No damage deposit is asked. Upon arrival, please present a valid credit card which will be used as guarantee. The card will be debited for unpaid dues, property degradations, missing objects and cleaning fees (if the cleaning has not been done).

If necessary, a pre-authorisation can be made before arrival date.
Children and Extra Sleeping :
If extra sleeping is needed, please ask us.
Children under 2 years of age : 10€/ night and per child. A crib will be supplied.
Children over 2 years of age and adults : 20€ / night et per person for use of extra sleeping sofa.
One crib is permitted. There is extra sleeping for a total of 1 adult or child.
We must confirm this extra sleeping and the extra cost will be added on to the invoice.

Please inform us on your expected arrival time and call us one hour before your arrival. A telephone number will be given to you.
If you require daily cleaning, please let us know and we will give you the fee. Cleaning is done before you enter into the apartment. The apartment must be left clean.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review. We will look into the pillows and are surprised to see that there were no dishwasher tablets. The agency didn’t put any it seems. As for the pillows, some want them soft and others hard. Difficult to please all.

Response from the owner Thank you for the nice recommendation. We will see to it that the agency responds quickly and tell them to provide more tea towels, garbage bags and to sharpen the knives. Just so that you know, an automatic knife sharpener is provided and stored behind the knife rack. In our listing, we do mention that the apartment is a 15 minute walk away from Annecy Old City and that is takes ½ hour to get to the lake. We are sorry you missed this. Response from the owner Nous vous remercions pour votre commentaire. Nous avons essayé de faire en sorte que cet appartement soit comme un second chez soi. Cependant nous avons bien noté votre remarque sur la climatisation et votre avis sera pris en compte. Juste quelques mots à ce sujet : Avant nous n’avions pas besoin de cela. Le 4e étage, bien ventilé, au milieu des arbres, en surplomb de la rivière, ne nécessitait pas la climatisation qui est souvent bruyante et pas tellement performante pour la planète. Aujourd’hui nous sommes en train d’étudier une ventilation rafraichissante, silencieuse, avec prise d’air filtrée à l’extérieur. Je peux vous assurer que nous ne laisserons pas passer un autre été aussi chaud sans une réponse adaptée. Nous vous informerons de sa réalisation sur notre site, rubrique Actualités. Cordialement,

Response from the owner Dear Eleanor, We thank you for the rating and nice comments. You were not lucky heat wise. You were in Annecy during a heat wave (which is quite rare). Right now the temperatures have plummeted to 17°C. Annecy is in a temperate zone because of the mountains and it’s lake. One solution is closing the roll down shutters during the day and opening everything at night. The apartment has many windows and it’s the glass windows that create the heat. Nevertheless we will look to find a solution for the heat (air coolers which can be used when a heat wave hits). As to the hanging problem, we do have hooks on the hide-a-away bed but we will also look into putting a small hanging closet. Luckily there are plenty of shelves in the second bedroom. There is closets in the hallway and in the other bedroom. Once again we thank you for having chosen our apartment and wish you safe travels.
