This was actually my 3rd time at "Villa Joelle".
From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and chilled.
The house is elegantly furnished making us feel at home instantly. Every modern convenience was at our disposal making this, our all time favourite rental property. Everything about our holiday was perfect and just sitting at the end of the day watching the amazing sunset on anguilla Bay with a cocktail was paradise
The home owner Joelle, kept in contact with us throughout our stay, she was very genuine with concern of our enjoyment of her vacation rental without beeing intrusive.
We do look forward to another visit to anse Marcel SMX and would love to return to "Villa Joelle" -

Villa Joelle is a tropical gem in anse Marcel. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the gracious and charming owner until we left 10 days later our stay at the Villa was totally enjoyable.
This was in large part due to Jennifer the charming manager of this property and to boot an excellent trained chef. A definite bonus to staying at this Villa. No request was too much trouble for her to accommodate.
Although there were wonderful flat screen Tv's in each bedroom we wanted one In the main living room to watch the Superbowl . No sooner said then done, the next day Jennifer arranged an additional TV and VCR in the living room.
Jennifer prepared three outstanding dinners for us during our stay at the Villa. Her preparation and presentation were fabulous and the meals served at the lovely outside dining table overlooking the Caribbean were idyllic .
The inside/outside living area was fabulous for our group of 6 friends and could easily have handled several more. Whether one wanted to relax in the sun or shade by the pool or on the enormous veranda there was ample seating for all.
The wifi was also an added bonus as it let all of us keep in touch with family members back home.
The kitchen was well equipped and we really loved the use of the professional expresso machine. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and Denise who came everyday but Sunday kept the place spotless.
The location of this Villa is excellent. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach which offers terrific swimming as the waters are calm and clean. Then a 10 minute car ride will take you to Grande Case which offers some of the best dining in all of St. Martin.
There is no question that we will return to Villa Joelle.

The hosts were helpful and gracious, and the fresh breakfast they prepared was delicious, especially as partaken from the expansive outdoor patios with its lovely view across the cove to the sea. The taxi couldn't find the place, which needs a sign at street level. Anse Marcel is a short walk downhill. The pizzeria restaurant at the resort there was good. This is a leisurely type of location for relaxation at the beach or on the premises, without other things to do within walking distance. There is a hiking trail nearby that's rugged and natural. Two friendly dogs also live there.
