37150Great place to stay, safe, conveniently located and great owners

Truly the way to go if you are traveling with young children. This is a beautiful home that is conveniently located. We appreciated the extra space (a yard to play in) and laundry facilities this afforded over a more conventional hotel. Moreover, if you want to take the kids to a pool, you are a hop step away from Soleil and Hotel antigua that let you use their pools for a day for a small fee. We had a perfect stay and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and to even when we decided at the last minute to return to antigua for a few more days. We had a lovely stay and will be sure to return!

We debated with my wife whether to stay at a hotel or rent a house while we visited antigua for a week. Our reasons for considering a hotel were the cleanliness, the fact that the staff could point out visiting recommendations and free parking for our rented car (which we never drove in antigua since everything is at walking distance). To our surprise, the house included all these and many other things.
We ended up deciding on the house. It was extremely clean, it had a roomy two car garage free of charge and the owners picked us up at the airport and gave us all kinds of inside tips on good places to eat (we have very specific tastes and they recommended very specific places to satisfy those tastes) and interesting things to do which proved extremely useful.
My parents are planning a visit and I'm telling them the pace to stay is a no-brainer. -

My Family and i just loved this rental house. It is in a grated community so we felt pretty safe. We were able to walk down town to the shops. i was a nice walk. we were able to wash and dry our clothes before we headed homes so we took our cloths home clean. The people who rented it to us are very nice people. Very enjoyable !! very well priced.

We have been going to Guatemala for 14 yrs and have always stayed in a hotel, but know that we have children we wanted something that would feel more like home and this home is amazing. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, the house was clean and well decorated. It was a treat to have fresh flowers and fruit when we arrived. We loved the location as we were able to walk to the mercado to get food for our meals. We already are thinking of coming back and being able to stay in our new home away from home.

Great place in a very good location. The house is very comfy and beautiful with a traditional Guatemalan style and the most important it is extremely clean! We were concerned about the location, but it is actually only five minutes from the square in a very nice and quiet area. Better than staying in the middle of the noise of the city. We though to stay only for a week but we ended up staying for two and moving from here to the other Guatemalan attractions. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They really made us feel at home! Totally recommended!

The house was an amazing place to stay. Its Guatemalan decoration makes you feel you are in Central america, and it fits perfectly with antigua's environment and style.
The house is very spacious and clean, with all the facilities you need.
Probably the only but for this place is location. It is a little far from downtown (but very close to the bus station), but you still need only 10 minutes to get there. Besides, the relative remoteness makes it a peaceful and quiet place (for those who want to rest). -

We had never been to Guatemala and had never "rented" a house off the internet, so we were not sure what type of experience we would have. From the beginning to end we were treated very professional and with such friendliness that we felt like family. We were greeted at the airport and given direction to the house. House was super clean, freshly cut flowers, fresh fruit, drinking water, clean bedding, towels, etc., overall all the luxuries of a hotel. The house is in a gated community, although we never felt unsafe in antigua. Dealing with the owner-managers was a delight. I have already started calling my friends to recommend it. When I go back to Guatemala, I hope this house is available.

Right after our wedding, my husband and I stayed here for a month. Our stay was lovely! The house is really comfy and it really felt like home. It's equipped with everything you could possibly need, plus it's got that gorgeous antigua-look, including a chimney. The garden is very well kept and we thoroughly enjoyed the grill outside. With such a wonderful weather, how can you not have a BBQ?! The location was very convenient too: it's walking distance from the central park, yet it's a peaceful area without any noise from tourists or locals.

GuatemalaWe love this place so much we've stayed here over 5 times!

This house has the best of both worlds! You can practically walk to anywhere you want to go and at the same time enjoy the peace and quiet of the area where the house is located. As the name clearly states, the house is very roomy which makes it ideal for a trip with a bunch of friends or a romantic getaway. The kitchen is very comfortable if you decide to prepare you own meals and the fireplace in the living room is a cozy place to relax. For reading, I recommend the patio which is also great for barbecues.
If you like to jog or walk, there are roads suitable for doing so around the area since the cobblestone roads in the rest of antigua are less than ideal for it. And if you prefer other types of transportation, just walk outside and you'll find 3-person mini taxis and horse carriages you can ride to your destination.
On a price/benefit side, this house definitely beats any hotel.
For the reasons stated and many more, I would definitely stay here again!
