Our Spanish colonial style home. Casa Amelia, is within the 10 square block old colonial city of Antigua Guatemala. Step into the 18th century amongst the volcanoes and majestic ruins of the old Spanish capital of Central America. Our four year old home evokes the 18th century in every way except its modern conveniences. With three bedrooms, three baths, three fireplaces, a "cupola" capped kitchen, a vaulted-brick-ceilinged dining room, an enchanting inside garden with fountains and covered patio, and views of the "Water" volcano and the ruined church of Santa Rosa, our home is fully equipped for your to enjoy your stay. .

Casa Amelia is located in the casco, or helmut, of the old colonial capital of Central America, 45 minutes from the Guatemala City airport. Antigua, with its cobbled streets, preserved ruins of numerous Spanish colonial convents, monasteries, and government buildings, is s step back into the eighteenth centruy. We walk everywhere -- to boutiques, gorgeous hotels, world class restaurants, and cultural events. Or use Casa Amelia as your base for exploration of magnificent Guatemala with its Mayan ruins and present day Mayan culture. Antigua's "eternal spring" climate, at 5000 feet, completes the environment for a perfect vacation.

There are no additional fees or taxes. Rates include utilities, including television, local telephone and wifi internet. Maid service is provided once per week. Additional maid service is available for an additional fee. No specific security deposit is required.
