Baan Sankar is a small home, ideal for families who require more space than a hotel, but whose budget does not stretch to a villa.
The house itself is comfortable, featuring an open plan living area with kitchen corner on the ground floor, and two bedrooms (one double and one twin) upstairs, each with ensuite bathroom (rain shower).
The lounge air-conditioned with a full home theatre system looks out over a small paved garden area with a private swimming pool. A popular bungalow resort is the immediate neighbour of this property, ensuring security and also room service meals if required.

From the time we arrived at our Villa and was greeted by JJ (the manager) along with a refreshing drink of chilled fruit juice until we left 4 days later, staying at the Villa was a first class experience. Jj provided us with a cell phone that had her number and the number of our driver. She said we could call her at any time if we had any problems or needed assistance. We never had any problems with the property but did use JJ to help us arrange to rent a long tail boat, visit local attractions (my wife loved riding an elephant thru the jungle) and just navigating the ao Nang area. In short, our stay at Krabi Villas was wonderful and we will stay there again and encourage you to do the same!

very nice vacation rental, right next to Green View Village. large space compare to hotels. very suitable for friends and family stay. 20 minutes walk to the beach.but you always take the complimentary tuktuk. Eateries, Mcdonald, Starbucks, travel agencies along the way.

From the start we were kept in regular email contact with the Krabi Villa company. Picked up at the airport in a large mini van, complete with car seat for 2 year old. Arrived at the villa to for a warm welcome with Krabi Villa rep, fruit and welcome pack etc.
The free Tuk Tuk service is fantastic! One phone call and within 5 minutes it arrives outside the villa or at the beach. Its much easier than trying to haggle a price and direct other drivers!
The villa is a good size and well kept, as it the grounds and the pool. There is a restaurant next door, part of a hotel which is handy for a quick meal or its a 900m/1mile walk into town. The pavements are a bit 'Thai' but that is to be expected...we managed with two children and a buggy very easily!
The staff at Krabi Villa company did everything they could to help out, before and during the visit. All spoke very good English so communication was easy.

Très bonne situation de cette villa à Ao Nang, un peu dommage qu'à côté de la villa il y ait une petite décharge avec des coqs qui chantent tout le temps, la nuit c'est un peu dérangeant, prévoyez des bouchons oreilles. La villa est spacieuse, bien entretenue (revoir l'accrochage des rideaux dans la chambre jaune, ça faisait un peu négligé, alors que ce n'était pas le cas), la piscine est très agréable et propre aussi. Le personnel est très aimable, bien qu'il était difficile de se faire comprendre en anglais, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de très bonnes vacances.

Recently returned from 16 nights in Baan Sankar, Ao Nang, and would recommend this property for families looking to enjoy the beautiful nature of Krabi, whilst also having their own space/family time. The property was very comfortable for 3 people, and maintained to a high standard by a hardworking and unobtrusive team of people. The villa is private but not isolated, which suited us - there is a good restaurant next door which is very convenient for meals at all times of the day. The location is slightly noisy (nothing obnoxious - mostly caused by enthusiastic cockerels!), which didnt bother us in the slightest, but may be a consideration for some. All in all can recommend this property and the team of people who look after its guests highly, especially the villa manageress Jae and the villa's driver Derm, who made our first visit to Thailand such a delight. Would definitely return/recommend to friends.

We absolutely loved staying at Baan Sankar for 2 weeks. The villa is close to the beach (only a short tuk tuk ride away)and has everything you could ask for. The pool was great for dipping in on hot days. The villa bedrooms were large and both had private bathrooms with shower. The entire villa is perfectly airconditioned and kept incedibly clean each day. We would not hesitate to rent this property again. A special thanks to Ching who took very good care of us the entire stay and also to Tif the tuk tuk driver who helped us out so much as well. We definately recommend having the Thai women make dinner for you at the villa - it was the best food we had the entire vacation. Thanks very much Ton Company. David/Robert/Jennifer

Baan Sankar Villa is perfect for up to 4 people to stay in. Nice and clean property, excellent service. Pick-up, welcome and all booked services (like in-house massage) all in time.
About 20 minutes walk to aonang beach, a 7-eleven supermarket is just 3 minutes away.
Would definitely stay there again. Big compliment to Ching (villa manager) and her team. -

Wir verbrachten unseren 8. Aufenthalt in ao Nang ,dieses Mal waren wir nicht in einem super Hotel ,sondern in der Villa Baan Sankar !
Es wurde fuer uns mit zu einem unseren schönsten Urlaub ueberhaupt.
Die Villa ist einfach Top ! Sie ist wundervoll ausgestattet ,super sauber ,ein tolles Management,Ching betreute uns durchweg super gut !! Ein ganz dickes extra Lob !Das Reingungspersonal war staendig bemueht alles sauber zu halten. Unser Fahrer hat uns stets gratis innerhalb ao Nang gefahren. Er war sehr sehr nett,wir mussten nie lange warten.Es war ein prima Preis Leistungsverhaeltnis ! Wir werden die Villa in deutschland weiter empfehlen und naechstes Jahr kommen wir wieder !!!
