Cliffside Lagoon Villa is perfectly situated on over one acre of private tropical gardens. Located against the National park between Krabi's main tourist hot spot of Ao Nang Beach (10 min.) and the quiet and idyllic Klong Muang Beach (10 min.), both offering stunning ocean views of Krabi's famous Phi Phi Island. There are numerous beaches including Ao Nang beach, Andaman beach or Tub Kak all within a 10 minute drive. Transportation provided free of charge once a day. Elephant treking and ancient limestone caves are within walking distance of the Villa. A natural clear water river with unique restaurants on it's banks is a stones throw away.
Airport pickup is provided with a stop for supplies. The Cliffside has it's own lagoon for fishing a large grass area for golf practice and many games provided. We also pride ourselves on great cooking and tour coordination. Take an island tour and we will fix the picnic lunch in an ice box to take along. Rent some motorbikes and do some site seeing.

From the time of being picked up at the airport to the time of leaving we had a super time at Cliffside Lagoon. Tom and Som did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of our holiday. We were two families (4 adults, 4 children between ages of 10 and 6) and the villa suited all of our needs. Really comfortable, all amenities available and extremely well looked after. Transport is provided to the beaches/towns daily - long beach was our favourite - hardly anyone else on the beach and we took the small bar-b-q from the villa which was wonderful. Easy to organise boat trips to the islands from ao Nang. Or just enjoy the wonderful garden and pool at Cliffside - as well as the zip line! Thoroughly recommend this villa to families or anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of Krabi, without the noise!

Il posto è incantevole! Un parco tropicale una piscina e due unità abitative molto carine e ben attrezzate! Splendida la cucina all'aperto sotto il portico circondato da orchidee!... Sempre gentile e disponibile Tom e la dolcissima Som! Torneremo sicuramente tutti gli anni come tappa per i nostri viaggi in oriente!

Our stay at the Cliffside Lagoon was absolutely marvellous and trouble-free.
We (a family of 4 adults and 3 kids) were welcomed by Som and Tom who took ample time to explain us the ins and outs of the villa. Straight away we felt 'at home'.
The house, with two separate sleeping area and a great outdoor living zone, is designed in such a way that it makes it very easy to have private moments as well as great family gathering.
The main house is absolutely superb with two large master bedrooms and a great TV area. We loved the outdoor shower/bath.The kids stayed in the second house and enjoyed very much their freedom.The central outdoor living area (kitchen + huge dinning table) is a fantastic place for sharing moments all together.
Finally the garden is huge and very well kept, the swimming pool is great and in general the property is full of surprises like fish in a big bowl as well as in the pond, many additional small houses (outdoor toilets, pool house) ... and a huge zipline which Tom helped us operate for the great pleasure of the children (and the adults). All in all, the amenities are fantastic.
The service is impeccable. Tom and Som are always here to help in addition of being personally at the property every day to take care of the house and the garden. We used seamlessly the tuk-tuk service. And Tom and Som helped us a lot with tours, shopping, groceries, etc.
We asked Som to come and cook for a us a traditional Thai dinner and we were bluffed by the quality (and quantity) she prepared for us - it was a great dinner and enjoyable moment for all of us. It was really worth.
Even though the villa looks far away from ao Nang beach, it was very easy to navigate from and to the property with the tuk-tuk. And we really enjoyed the quietness of the place.
We would definitely recommend the Cliffside Lagoon villa to any family who wants to relax in a quiet and luxurious environment while enjoying the beautiful Krabi region. -

We've got really home service at Cliffside Lagoon Villa during our New Year holidays 2012-2013 due to Tom and Som hospitality. Many thanks for you dear friends!! It is undoubtedly great place for holidays because of the perfect location (beautiful neighborhood of ao Nang, amazing veiws from each point on the villa plot), good conditions of the villa and second house, charming garden and very nice pool. It looks like a tropical paradise with all necesery modern things for comfortable holidays. Although we were group of two families including 4 children all our different needs Tom and Som resolved very fast and clever. Special thank you for Christmas tree and Gala dinner at villa. We enjoyed a lot Som's kitchen, she is a great in cook, you are lucky Tom:))) It was not first time for me in Thailand, thats why I can recommend to visit aoNang - one of the most beautiful place in Thailand and ofcause I recommend Cliffside Lagoon Villa as a great choice of accomodation there.

This is a wonderful property, especially for a large family group or friends sharing. There are two houses, each with its own kitchen, living and dining areas and two bedrooms and a bathroom in each house. In addition there is a huge outdoor covered living/dining area where we had most of our meals to take advantage of the warm climate.
The extensive grounds have a swimming pool, a fish pond and a flying fox (zipline) which were all enjoyed, especially by our grandchildren. It was very quiet at night and we were awakened only by the chattering of monkeys and the whistling of the cicadas each morning. An occasional elephant also passed by the back of the property.
The houses and pool were serviced daily and the linens and towels also changed each day. There were fishing rods, pool toys and many games for everyone to use. The service was first class and the owners, Som and Tom, were very helpful and friendly. They gave us information and made bookings to enable us to visit the beautiful off-shore islands and other attractions in the area.
The property is about 5 kms from ao Nang, but we did not feel isolated because the owners provide complimentary tuk-tuk or other vehicle service to and from the towns of ao Nang and Krabi where there are many restaurants. Complimentary airport transfers are also included in the rate when renting the property.
The owners even arranged for us to have a Thai banquet at home one evening which was excellent.
Overall a perfect way to spend our Christmas in 2012.

My week long stay at the Cliffside Lagoon was awesome. The grounds are spacious and private. The pool was crystal clean and perfect for a dip anytime of the day or night. The entire resort is meticulously maintained. The location is perfect for quick trips to ao Nang and many beautiful beaches. I loved how everything I needed was right there even if I wanted to stay in and relax.

Vanuit Nederland en australie kwamen wij naar de Villa voor een familie reunie! Een beter plek hadden we niet kunnen hebben om 14 dagen van elkaars gezelschap te genieten.
De geweldige villa's met de heerlijke buiten keuken, die als leefruimte de centrale plek was. Gastvrije ontvangst, op elke vraag werd een antwoord gegeven of het werd geregeld, niets was teveel gevraagd!! Met de tuktuk service ben je in korte tijd, op het strand van ao Nang of op welke andere plek je ook maar wilt zijn.
We zijn met een longboot naar diverse stranden gevaren, hebben een geweldige olifantentocht gemaakt, dagje snorken en kayaken, nachtmarkt in Krabi, heerlijk eten, massage en pedicure en natuurlijk de overheerlijke thuis bereide maaltijden, gekookt door Som. Maar het was ook heerlijk om een dagje in de CLV te blijven, zwemmen en lekker een beetje luieren, wat vissen in de vijver en over de tuin en vijver uitkijken vanuit de tuinbank. Dus met andere woorden, wil je een heerlijke relaxde vakantie met een op en top service dan ben je hier op de juiste plek. Vooral als je met wat meer mensen bent.
Het was voor mij een droomvakantie, mede door de goede zorgen van Tom en Som. -

It is difficult to return to a normal life, after staying in paradise for two weeks.
We were a group of 10 (5 children, 5 adults) needing to find a place to cater for young children and teenagers. Cliffside Lagoon was perfect. It came with two large houses, a pool with spa jets and a communal eating/entertainment area with an amazing view.
The villa is located in a rural area half way between Krabi town and ao Nang. The property backs onto a national park with views that are just breathtaking. The garden on the property is amazing with a large pond full of catfish which you can throw a rod into catch.
Included in the accommodation was a daily return tuk-tuk trip to either Krabi Town or ao Nang. We got to know the drivers and they were friendly and efficient.
Included also is a commplimentary cooked meal at the villa, a big fruit basket and wine with fruit juice on our arrival. Also included is a complimentary homecooked meal. When you have the complimentary meal, I recommend you ask for the Thai food and watch as the girls are only to happy to teach how it is cooked.
The owners and managers (Tom and Som) provide a villa mobile which is a great way of "dialing a friend" when we needed information, an extra tuk-tuk ride somewhere, food delivery, translation service etc. They and other staff come in each day to clean, check if you need anything and offer suggesitons. They provide genuine, helpful information and encourage to call should we need anything.
Breakfast was not included. However, this was not a problem and if you want to keep costs down, ask Tom or Som to bring a Thai breakfast which he was able to bring every morning. Local food in Thailand is cheap so this was really conventient. Tom and Som also organised for were only too happy to ensure our stay went trouble free.
A highlight for our group was when Som took us around Krabi Market and explaimed a lot of the local specialities.
We all miss not being there and look forward to returning. -

The houses, garden, pool, kitchen area are all in perfect condition, comfortable, cosy and well maintained daily.
What made the most impression is the outstanding service that Tom and Som provide. They really enjoy giving you the best experience you can possibly have. With your own mobile phone you easily contact them to order a tuktuk, breakfast (make sure you try the Thai breakfast!), groceries or what else. Som even helped us find nice souvenirs and helped translate the consult when we needed a doctor. She showed us the famous weekly night market in Krabi and helped us get the best price/quality in the several tours we did (e.g. elephant trekking, snorkling).
And please have Som and her collegues cook for you! Delicious!
Tom took us for a great diving tour and turned out to be an excellent dive master and guide under water. So all in all: it could not be any better than this!
And I almost forgot: we travelled with children (14, 13, 4, 3 and 1 year old). They all had a great time. Everything needed for the little ones was provided: car seat, babybed, babychair, floating/safety toys etc.
We also recommend you to go to Yada Silk in aonong (close to postal Office), for 100% handmade high quality silk. Som knows where it is located. Don't buy silk in the regular tourist areas, nor go to a regular (Indian!) tailor.

I spent a little over a week at the Cliffside Lagoon and I have to say I'm blown away! Having normally stayed in hotels and guest house on our travels, I think I can safely say that I won't be doing it again.
Tom, the villa owner, went way out of his way (literally sometimes) to make our stay beyond all expectations, and myself, the friends who stayed with us, my wife and daughter were extremely well looked after in this beautiful tropical villa. Tom even did a Barbecue for us on my birthday which went down spectacularly well.
Can't say enough nice things about this place, amazing tranquil location, enormous amount of space to let the kids run around and explore, great food and lodgings, but above all; fantastic service. Well done to Tom, Som, Oy and everyone else involved. -

I'm not sure if I'll have enogh words to describe our experience in this Villa. In a nutshell: it was incredible. The villa is located close to the jungle but its area is so big that you feel safe and very comfortable. It has two main buildings and a separate, open air kitchen and dinning room. No walls, no needed. The swimming pool is great and the big garden with the lagoon is superb. The villa has all the commodities: TV, DVD, PC, 2 Kitchens, BBQ, Golf area, conditioned air, and many other things, but the best was the dinners that the chefs (Sow and her colleague) prepared for us. Forget to go out for dinner: what they cooked was yummy and excellent. Tom and his team are very friendly, customer oriented and provide all types of facilities. All excellent, fully recommended!

My family stayed in this villa in the "off season" and found it to be excellent in every way. The villa is located in a very quiet and secluded area, yet we were very close to ao Nang and local beaches. It was very cool to be able to cook and dine in the outdoor kitchen overlooking the private lagoon with a view of the local mountain. The flowers and landscaping were amazing and the pool was very nice. My sons and I went scuba diving off the local islands and when we came back to the villa, all we had to do was kick back and relax.

I spent in November 2 weeks with the whole family in that wonderful Villa. The garden is like a botanical garden and very well precerved. In the house you find all items on the right place and a really tropical feeling is for garanty.
Very conveniant is the great andaman beach which is only 10 Minutes by motobike away. There you find peace and quietness even in the high season.
All in all a relaxed holiday with excellent service and the feeling of total privacy in a natural surrounding. -

We travelled to Krabi in Dec my husband , our 3 children of 11, 9 and baby and also with my aunt and uncle whom we had invited from England. A warm welcome from Tom to the gorgeous set up they have at Cliffside Villas. The gardens and lake are simply stunning and we enjoyed just spending time at the villa enjoying the large open space, Pool and laid back ambience, this is what attracted me to book this property plus the villa is in 2 parts so we were able to give the self contained loft apartment to our guests
My son celebrated his 11th birthday whilst we were at the villa and I organised the chef service and a cake and everything was organised for us beautifully. The chef service was brilliant, the food simply out of this world, better than any restaurant and all cooked in the outside sala kitchen area whilst we were having drinks. We booked this again on our last night
Tom and Som really do provide an attentive service, from supplying some baby items for us on arrival, delivering fresh bread in the mornings and Som takes such loving care of the orchids and the garden. They really do care about this place and their guests. We also booked their massage service which was inexpensive and a delight.
The only issues we had were erratic hot water in the shower and unfortunately the jungle behind their oasis was being cleared by a man with a very loud chainsaw every morning ruining the peacefulness and tranquility of this place but this I am sure is a temporary issue and future guests would not be hindered by this.
Cliffside provided us with a gorgeous location for a bit of exploring Krabi but mostly to reconnect with family, spend time together and enjoy the beatiful setting of Cliffside Lagoon Villa.Response from Villas in Krabi, Cliffside Lagoon - 01/06/2012

We stayed as a party of 6 at the Villa for 7 nights over Xmas 2011 and we cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.
Tom, Som and the team did everything possible to make our christmas in Krabi very special and none of us wanted to leave on our last day.
Tom gave great advise on any trips out and went out of his way to assist in organising everything from Elephant trecking on xmas day to picking out the best beaches for our day trips while Som and her team prepared some of the most amazing food we have had anywhere in the world.
We are already looking at planning a return trip in Spring 2012!!!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Cliffside Lagoon Villa. We are a family with two children and my parents came too, so the layout with two sleeping areas suited us really well. We were in the bigger villa with my son (4) and daughter (2) in one double bedroom and us in the other. My parents were in the annex style villa across the courtyard. Som and her team of helpers are really fantastic cooks and we dined like kings for the entire week. The pool is not enormous but certainly big enough for lots of family fun (note however that neither pool or lagoon are fenced at the present time, so children under 5 ish do need to be watched like hawks!) The entire cliffside lagoon team are absolutely delightful and nothing is too much trouble. The in-house massage and complimentary tuk tuk taxis can be booked at a moments notice. The villas have everything you need and are practically furnished along with extras like a large TV/DVD/music system and a good selection of Dvd's and family toys/snorkelling equipment etc.
We also really recommend the Frog and Catfish restaurant with rooms nearby, both for evening and lunchtime food. Using their pool pre lunch also kept children amused after we checked out of the villa before heading to the airport - they even provided us with towels!
All in all a great week and thoroughly enjoyed by all generations!

We totally enjoyed 5 nights in the Cliffside Lagoon Villa. They were waiting for us at the airport with a car for a complimentary ride to the villa. The room was clean & nicely decorated. The room had a computer with internet access. The day we got in we were happy to just stay by the pool and enjoy the scenery and a specially prepared thai dinner, cooked on site- the curry was the best I ever had.
Of course the highlight were the beautiful beaches in the area, many to explore!

Mein Sohn und ich genossen die Woche in diesem wunderbaren anwesen sehr. Cliffside Lagoon Villa bei Krabi hat eine aussergewöhnlich schöne Lage und der Garten ist sensationell schön! Schmetterlinge, Vögel, ja sogar Eisvögel kann man beobachten. Kein Licht stört den Sternenhimmel, ja, hier kann man Ruhe finden. Action genehm? In nur kurzer Zeit ist man am Strand oder in ao Nang, also besser kann keine Villa sein als diese.

Great place to stay when visiting Krabi! Fresh bread was available every morning and the cooking staff did a great job! The main house was beautiful, inside and out, with two bedrooms off the main living space, a nice shared bathroom with door leading to an outdoor spa area. Both the main house and the apartment were fully furnished and air conditioned. This place is far from the typical villa rental I am used to. The property was way bigger than the website showed. The grounds surprised me. I hadn't expected such a large property. Most places I've rented have very small properties, even if the homes were nice. The Cliffside Lagoon gave a feeling of a remote jungle hideaway yet is so close to town and quite secure. The beaches in ao Nong were less than 10 minutes away and gave you access by boat to many world famous places such as Railey Beach and Phi Phi Island. I have recommended this to friends who planning a visit to Thailand and I would absolutely stay here again! In fact the only problem I had was the automatic front gate to the property quit working until i figured out that the remote control's battery died!
