Beautiful home! You'd think you're staying in a resort or hotel. Its decorated like a model home, very upscale. Master bedroom is spacious with floor to ceiling window views of the beach. Full kitchen has every utensil, pot, pan, serving tray/bowl you will need! Only bring food... and charcoal if you want to use the BBQ. No complaints about the house at all! There is parking for 2 cars in driveway and one compact car in the garage. You can fit more close to the house if you are friendly with the neighbors. Beach access is 5-10 min walking. Stores are nearby, all within a mile. Read instructions on the kitchen counter for beach access, wi-fi and grocery stores.

The house location was wonderful and the view was even better. Was only a 5-10min walk to restaurants and the beach. Our family and friends had a great time. The only downfall was the cell phone coverage was no good but we managed.

This beach house was everything we hoped it would be in more. The view of the beach was stunning and the location was secluded enough to be away from the locals. The proximity of the sand from the beach is perfect. A short walk there and back and it doesn't seem like the Trail of Tears. The house is perfectly set up for a family of 4 or more. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. All the amenities we are used to having in a home so we could could and gather as a family.

We have stayed here for the past two Christmases and had a wonderful time each year. The kitchen is amazing and is open to the downstairs (dining and living rooms) including amazing views of the ocean. Great house for entertaining!

This home has it all. We really enjoyed our family reunion. The home is well taken care of and very modern with many unique arhitecural details. The views are astonishing. All details have been well thought out and we are planning on coming back to stay again, hopefully soon.
Only gripe is that the hot tub needed bromine or some type of chemicals because the odor was horrific.

We spent 7 nights and loved the house. Great location and spectacular views. The house was very clean, lots of amenities: grill, hot tub, wi-fi. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The home is beautiful and easily accommodated 6 of us. The deck off of the master suite afforded a beautiful view of the sunset. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and each of the bedrooms was tastefully decorated. The only things lacking were dishwasher soap and firewood. Would highly recommend this home. While certainly not inexpensive, being able to split the cost 6 ways made it affordable. It was also a very short walk to the beach.

The house was spacious and well upgraded throughout. Wonderful views and good proximity to the beach (about a 10 minute downhill walk). Beds were comfortable. The house really needs a larger dining room table as the home sleeps 8 but you can really only seat 5-6 in the dining room. It could also use a real coffee table for games and, well, coffee!

We have rented many homes throughout California. When we travel, we prefer the option to cook for ourselves. We also like the feel of a home instead of a hotel/motel room. We have rented several homes in the aptos area over the years. This home is by far the most expensive home we have ever rented. Would we stay there again? Well, I am curious about the discount offered for repeat customers. Here are some downsides- the wireless doesn't work for Vista computers, cell phone service isn't the best for both Verizon and at&T.The; upstairs is open over the kitchen so anyone downstairs can hear when a shower is being taken in the master bedroom. One of the other bedrooms is also open to downstairs so noise travels easily. I have to say, though, this place had by far the absolute best kitchen ever!! Decent pots and pans, decent knives, even baking pans and to top it all off, a good backup variety of herbs and spices. We had several extended family members over for dinner several times and we didn't have to bring our whole kitchen including spices with us. I ran out of salad dressing one night and was able to quickly whip up an Italian oil and vinegar salad dressing using balsamic vinegar I found, our own olive oil and then spiced it up with some herbs from the drawer. Got good reviews from a discerning family!! For people who prefer to stay in and cook (and bake from scratch) it was a great kitchen to use. The place accommadated our group well. And of course, we loved the master bedroom and deck. The views of the beach were spectacular. So, thanks for a nice week at the beach.

Our stay was magnificient. From the lush tropically planted garden to the spacious master sweet with hot tub we couldn't have asked for anything more. Long morning walks on the beach started each day and the kids loved every minute of the waves during the afternoon. Location was very central - we took excursions to Stanford and Monterey, about an hour a piece. We were after relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind. We got both!

walking distance from the beautiful beach. I would do it every year if I could afford it. We needed a get away after the loss of my husband the children could not be home this year without there father and Pa Pa . Nor I his wife of 49 years. This home made it a litter easier. We stayed here over New Year's and it was lovely! The weather wasn't fantastic, but it didn't matter with those views and that lovely house. The dogs enjoyed themselves very much and we had a lovely, relaxing New Year's weekend. Would love to go back.

We had a great time at the Mar Vista house. The views are brilliant! The house is very nice, however it would have been more convenient to be able to use the other side of the garage also. The Hole in the Wall Cafe just down the street serves a great breakfast. It was not as close to the beach as I thought it would be and we ended up driving with the kids, strollers and all to the state park, but it was well worth it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. In addition the gals at Beach House Rentals were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful house with a spectacular view of the ocean. The hot tub on the deck was great. The kitchen was well stocked. Great location within walking distance of the beach, only about 10 minutes. Dede was fabulous and responsive. All my messages were answered very quickly. Would go back there again and again and highly recommend it

The house was in terrific shape. Not just for a pet friendly house but for any high end vacation rental. It was well appointed in the kitchen with everything you could need. The house it's self was very well maintained and in great shape. the furniture was wonderful and the grounds were very nicely kept up.
There are great views from the home and especially from the private hot tub! The upper balcony is a great place to just sit and relax and watch the ocean and all of the ocean critters jumping and feeding.
The one thing that I'd ask is that the screen be replaced in the bedroom that shares a wall with the master bedroom. It was missing and there can be some buggy intruders at times. Myself, my wife and our adult daughter loved the house and had a wonderful vacation. -

We had a wonderful time while staying at this beach rental. The location was perfect; very close access to the beach. The views were amazing, from both the lower and upper patio/deck. The house itself was well maintained and more than enough room for all. The folks at Beach House Rentals were very helpful and accommodating as well. We will definitely return. The only "request" would be for some patio furniture in the back "downstairs" patio -- it would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the views and sounds downstairs as well. We did improvise – found some beach chairs in one of the closets!

104 Mar Vista was even better than it looked in pictures. The balcony/hot tub views were beautiful. The beach access was very close by. The house had all the amenities we need, was well taken care of, and the kitchen was truly full stocked for cooking.
Family dropped in for dinner and games in the living room. There was something for everyone in this location. (We ranged in age from 14 to 75.)
There was trouble connecting to the internet but this has hopefully been worked out.
