We loved staying here! We stayed 2 nights in the middle of a 2 week trip. We had been staying with friends the rest of the trip and this was our 'alone' time. We arrived super latebut the manager was really helpful with talking us through the lockbox so we could get in and sleep.

This was the nicest rental I have ever encountered. The house is just right for two people. The location is quiet and a great jumping off point for access to the redwoods and Arcata and nearby towns. We felt instantly welcomed and at home, the cottage is beautiful in every respect. I long to return someday.

The cottage was very clean and right in my budget. The yard is beautiful. The only thing it's missing is a hammock for reading. We couldnt believe there was OJ,Coffee, and a bottle of red wine awaiting us.That was top notch!!
The kitchen was fully equipped for our cooking needs. We loved the LEMON TREE COTTAGE AND WILL BE BACK!!Thank You!! -

Other than the wireless password not working, the place was perfect for my needs.

I'm sorry we did not know about the password not working. We've never had this issue before or after the stay so it seems like it was probably not entered correctly.

Nice, cute place in a great spot close to the plaza. Remodel was done well and the grounds are really beautiful. It oughta be called Fig Tree Cottage, though, because of the massive backyard fig tree! Our one complaint, and it's not that big a deal, is my wife e-mailed ahead to ask if there would be a blow dryer and was told yes, and then there wasn't one. We called to ask if they could drop one by, and we were told we could pick one up and that we'd be reimbursed. Not exactly the response we would have liked, but again not a big deal. Also, I think they're still working out the kinks, as the laundry shed in the back had a combo lock on it. We had to call for the combo. Seems like that could be detailed in the house so we wouldn't need to call. Regardless, a very nice stay in a great little spot.
