We enjoyed the thoughtful touches, such as coffee in the freezer. The charming antiques, nice quality linens and covenience of a washer and dryer in the garage. We will come back again!!

We went to visit our son during spring break and stayed at the forest view studio. It was a great place to stay. Large, roomy, well stocked with every convience, clean and close to every thing. And very quiet. We enjoyed ourselves, even with the rain - and they had umbrellas for us to use. Thanls again for having such nice places to stay - a home away from home.

Stayed at forest view stay and loved it. it was wonderful had every thing you could really need even found a picnic basket under counter. Me and my Girlfriend had a great time. was nice and cozy felt just like home. very quiet area, and had no problems. management was great called and asked if i could leave my vehicle for a while after checkout and was told that it wouldn't be a problem. We loved it and will be coming back again for years to come.

We stayed at the Forest View stay while visiting Humboldt County in the winter of 2010. The rental itself is cute and very well maintained. The gas fireplace was a lifesaver after our hike in the pouring rain. The rental is also very close to the park that borders HSU, which makes a fun half-day walk.

I'll admit right away that I am a snob when I choose my hotels and arcata doesn't have that level of hotels so I tried arcata Stay...and I've been at various properties that have exceeded my expectations! Christy, hands down is a pro, a big help and ever helpful. Each stay that I have experienced ranged from a studio to a full blown house and each time the level of comfort, location and cleanliness was a given. It makes making the 7 hour drive worthwhile because I know when I arrive the residence will exceed my needs. I'll have to visit after my son graduates from HSU just to be at the properties she manages..I can't say enough thanks!!

What a great place! My wife and I enjoyed everything about it- relaxing [water feature on ground level] nice TV with lots of movies available, excellent bed, and everything you would need in the kitchen. We cooked while here- a nice change from the typical eating out when on vacation- and packed lunches for the two days we toured the area. The unit is above a garage and requires going up outside stairs although this did not present a problem to my us.
The check-in and check-out service, while all done "remotely"- email and phone messages- went smoothly. Sorry we missed meeting Christy, however!

This studio above a garage is the perfect hideaway -- close to downtown but private enough to feel you're isolated. Soothing running water just past the deck, light and airy, plenty of space to live in. We will definitely be back!

We loved the view and the closeness to Humboldt. We took walks everyday in the woods. We loved driving to the beach as well and walking on the beach. It was very relaxing to sit on the pattio and listen to the pond in the garden.

My son is going to JC in Eureka; I cooked for him and had a special "hangout out" time with him that would not be possible in a hotel, etc.--it was very relaxing and private. I cherished the time with him and I was very, very comfortable in this studio-I felt indulged. It was a great visit --time off for me and precious time with my son--what more could you ask for?!

This was a great space to stay in arcata. It was super clean, had some great storage and was just the right size for 2 people. The balcony was a great place to sit with a glass of wine and look at the redwoods. I highly recommend Forest View Stay to anyone that will be in the arcata area

Everything about our stay at Forest View was a welcome delight. This homey place so convenient to all things Humboldt County was a real find suggested by our son and his girlfriend, both arcata residents. Christy was kind and responsive and made the arranging simple and pleasant. This beautiful place with a tranquil water fall in the garden soothes the soul.

At first we weren't sure what to think about an apartment above a garage, but were very pleased, in fact my wife took away a lot of ideas in case we ever decide to build such a place. Everything was close by. We walked to the town square, the redwood city park, Humboldt State, etc. Easy on-off access to 101 making it easy for us to get to Ferndale, the Lost Coast and Trinidad State Beach. It is also dog friendly which is important to us. We would stay there again no problem and highly recommend it.

Chuck, thanks so much for your kind review of Forest View Stay. It is a lovely spacious studio a few short blocks to downtown and ideal home base for taking day trips sightseeing. Boy, for a weekend you really packed in some stellar sites on the Redwood Coast, especially the Lost Coast. Not everyone visiting here makes it to that hidden gem. I assume you did the loop and came out on HWY 101 at Southern Humboldt Redwoods Park. Gorgeous drive. We hope you can make your way to finding the Lost Coast once again.

I have been staying in Arcata every third week for the past 5 years on business. I will ONLY stay at one of the ArcataStay apartments because they are beautifully appointed, have every amenity I could ask for (including wifi), and are conveniently located. Plus, the owners of the apartments that comprise the network of fine accommodations known as "ArcataStay" treat me like royalty! We really appreciated the convenient location, comfy bed and roomy floor plan. Nice details in the construction show care and expense were not spared to make the place nice. The only detail we missed was that apparently the last person who was there had set the alarm for 2:30 am. SURPRISE! When we arose for the second time, we vowed to check that for ourselves wherever we stay from now on.

I highly recommend staying in one of Arcata Stay's Lodging options. I enjoyed my stay in a wonderful studio apartment, that felt like home. It was nicely decorated, clean, open floor plan, and reasonably priced for the amenities.

This studio was perfect for our business trip. As always, the accomodations were clean, cozy, and supplied with everything we needed. The deck and outdoor garden were enjoyable for relaxing.
The directions provided to us for this location aren't entirely accurate- I believe the wrong exit is given. We found it okay once we realized that.
