This charming private house is unique due to its centric location. It is located between Puerto Rico's two major airports. (approximately an hour drive from each one of them.) It has most of the amenities your family will need from day one. It is right on the oceanfront with a huge swimming pool, and minutes away from all sorts of attractions like Camuy Caverns, Arecibo's Observatory, amusement parks, forests, major outlets, big shopping malls, and hospitals. Our family of 5 spent thanksgiving at aOP this year. We were very comfortable, safe, and relaxed. The location is superb. The beach is just steps away in the backyard. The reservation and checkout process was flawless and we could not have felt any more comfortable. The home is well appointed with all kinds of stuff. The pool is perfect and the town and area are very nice and interesting. We did a few day trips and just read, relaxed and enjoyed this ocean paradise. Thank you Ruben very much for opening your home to us.

PAQuiet, peaceful and relaxing

This house is exactly how it appars in the photos. The owner, Ruben has thought of just about everything. The house has towels (and beach towels), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bed linens... And he even goes so far as to have a snow cone maker, ice cream maker and popcorn maker for your convenience. He has a ton of movies, and CDs and there is even a washer and dryer for your use! I couldn't believe this place was real. It is located right on the beach, which really is mostly secluded. The only downfall is the ocean is very rough so you really can't swim in the ocean, however, there is a nice lagoon area to lay around in. Ruben was very helpful and very easy to contact, by phone or email. We have been bragging about this place since we got home and have been recommending to everyone to stay here. So thankful that we did not stay in a resort. We will definitely be staying at this place again!!!

The drive along the road was relaxing, beautiful and then to finally arrive and see this amazing oceanfront home we were already in love.
As we were walking through the home with Ruben and Maria; our granddaughters were running up and down already claming their room and who was going to be the first to jump into the pool. They tested every lawn chair every swing chair and the hammocks. You could hear them rattling on about the beach, and the pool as we were walking through the home. Just to let anyone who has teenage girls this is a dream home for them never ending entertainment, Thanks Ruben.
Your home was perfect in every way. The rooms were great, the panoramic views were amazing. The lazy walks we as a family took along the beach amazing, Our favorite was sitting in the late evening listening to the waves break along the shore, pure heaven.
To pay a compliment to this home seems to little payment for the peaceful magical time we were able to have for seven days. Recommendation recommendation "for sure". If we could have shouted this from the highest mountain we would have with pure excitement.
Ruben and Maria we can't wait to return to your home which we gladly call our home for seven stress free days. We had a fantastic time and anyone who is lucky enough to stay in this very lovely home will for sure share our opinion.

We have traveled the globe and we think we found "Paradise" in aricebo. Crete is nice, the Hawaiian Islands are nice but aricebo is nothing like this. Its absolutely beautiful, unaffected by corporate development, its just Puerto Rico with all its glory.We spent a week and didn't see one tourist or should I say one american LOL, the locals are so friendly and kind.
Ruben's home is an Oasis in the middle of this paradise, you have everything you need there, no need to even leave if you choose. He has went way beyond what you would ever expect from a vacation home rental owner; and he greets at the door when you arrive 5 stars to Ruben!!
The atlantic Ocean steps from your door, huge swimming pool, multiple Bbq's, outside amenities that will surprise you, and the home is decked out with all the comforts of your home and more.

We rented this beautiful house for 2 weeks, and believe we found paradise. My children, who are all adults said this was the best vacation, we never felt that we were an incovenience to Ruben when we called him with questions. He was always helpful, especially when we needed directions. The house itself is perfection, it has everything you could ever want for your stay, we actually made ice cream one night. Thanks Ruben, the ice cream machine was a great item to find in the house. The house and the grounds were perfection. We sat in every area of the property, and I think the gazebo was the best, even when it rained, very peaceful. If you want to wake up and drink your coffee on the beach and feel you are all alone, this is the place, rarely did we see anyone else on the beach, it felt like our own private beach. There is plenty to do in San Juan, drive an hour and you feel like you're in a totally different area, we visited every corner of San Juan, and it was wonderful. Thank you again Ruben, we hope to be back next year, if I could, I'd be back next month.

The property was just a dream! We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed the beach and lagoon daily. Ruben was so nice and very accessable when we needed some directions (thanks!!) We would not hesitate to go back again (and hope to soon).

This is our first time renting a beach home and we were a little hesitant at first but after reading other reviews about this place we decided to book it. It was so well worth it!! This is a truly special place if your looking for a relaxing place thats separates you from all the hustle and bustle of your everyday life this is the place. Once there I didn't want to leave as a matter of fact we are planning on staying there next year for 2 weeks, 1 is just not enough. I have to kids ages 2 and 4 and having the beach at our back yard was a treat. I understand why this is called aOP. Ruben was very nice when I asked him if he knew anyone that would come out to give massages on the beach he looked into it and came through. One of the days we turned the back of the house into our own spa. Massages and facials on that amazing beach who could ask for more!!

My husband, myself and 3 grown children in their 20's, just returned from a Christmas holiday at aOP in Puerto Rico, and can't begin to express how amazed that we were with this place. My daughter and sons flight had them getting in much earlier than the rest of us, so they were able to greet Ruben and check in very easily. When they picked us up at the airport later that night, my daughter was so ecstatic saying the place was amazingly better than the pictures show and she so appreciated Ruben checking them in. We so much loved and enjoyed every part of Puerto Rico and the beach house. I already have one of our co workers who are looking to consider aOP.
Thank you so much Ruben for all your help. We hope to come back again. It is an amazing place.

My family and I stayed at the arecibo Oceanfront Paradise in July, 2010. The house is absolutely beautiful and it truly feels like being home. Ruben is great and very supportive, just a phone call away. We loved the pool, since Puerto Rico in the summertime can be hot, hot, hot. I have to say that the air conditioning in the home is also a major plus. I had rented another home in the area the previous year, but the lack of air conditioning in all of the bedrooms made me not be a return visitor. Aop's bedrooms are all fully air conditioned. My family loved having a cool, comfortable house to come home to after a day of tiring sightseeing. Rest assured that you will not be disappointed in the arecibo Oceanfront Paradise!

We just returned to reality after spending three nights at this dream house. The property is very centric and it overlooks the atlantic Ocean. If you love the sound and the scent of the sea, this is the place for you.
The house is beutifully decorated and very comfortable. It has all the amenities of home and if you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is very well equiped. Enjoing brunch on the wraparound porch overlooking the pool and the ocean was heavenly.
If you prefer dinning out, there are quiet a few good restaurants nearby.
The backyard is like a Corona commercial.
Thank you Ruben for being so patient with us.
We will return next year.
