Two Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment Foiano

Victory U is a pretty apartment part of a lovely stone farmhouse on a beautiful wine producing estate surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The apartment opens onto its own garden area and in the grounds below the house is a lovely swimming pool with unspoilt views of the countryside and verdant valley beyond.

The farmhouse itself is divided into just five apartments all comfortably furnished in country style with many family antique pieces and warm atmospheres created by pastel coloured walls and homely touches. Victory U, on the ground floor, consists of a living room, with sitti...ng area with two settees (which can convert to beds on request), characteristic wood burning stove, dining area with table and chairs and a kitchenette. There are two pretty bedrooms, one with double bed and ensuite shower room, the other with twin beds (which can convert to a double on request), as well as a second shower room.

The apartment opens onto its? own area in the garden which is furnished with table, chairs and barbeque perfect for dining al fresco under the shade of the trees. There is plenty more space for relaxing in the lovely gardens and lawns surrounding the house and in a panoramic position below is a gorgeous oval swimming pool (14m x 7m) with unspoilt views over the countryside.

The estate produces wine and olive oil which is available locally for tasting and purchase. As well as organising wine tastings and visits to the winery, the owners, passionate about food too, can also arrange dinners with local specialities on request served in a pretty separate room complete with open fireplace.

Victory U is in an excellent location for exploring Tuscany. Arezzo and beautiful Cortona are within easy reach and thanks to excellent nearby road links the wonderful cities of Siena with its? shell shaped piazza, Florence with its art and Renaissance treasures and stunning Perugia are also easily accessible. There are local shops in the village approximately 1.5 kms away and a larger selection of amenities a little further away at Foiano della Chiana.
