Newly renovated stone cottage in a small village with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and in the heart of beautiful Central Portugal.
The house retains most of its internal stone walls and has been renovated to provide a comfortable standard for self catering holidays. There is a living room, 3 double bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a shower room. The private garden is to the front of the house and has a charcoal BBQ.
The house is in an ideal situation for a relaxing holiday. The nearest river beach is in Coja appro. &kms; away although the council are developing a small river beach in Folques only 2kms...Read more

The area of Central Portugal is very beautiful with winding rivers in green valleys and small villages dotted along the hill sides. There are lots of river beaches to be discovered along the river Alva, the nearest is 3kms away in Folques with one of the prettiest in Coja approx. 7 kms from the house.
The main district town of Arganil is approx. 7kms away where you will find a selction of shops, supermerkets, butchers, bakers, restaurants and cafes as well as banks and a Post Office.
The house is situated on a hillside in a quiet location with spectacular views down the valley and beautiful sunsets. An ideal retreat for a relaxing and peaceful holiday!

The house was comfortable and well kitted out and the views were spectacular. We spent a lot of time in the garden just relaxing but also used the local river beach to cool off on a hot afternoon. I definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting to get away from it all and be surrounded by peace and beauty!
