BARRIL de ALVA
A attractive village house built in schist stone in the pretty village of Barril de Alva with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. There is a pretty river beach only 500ms from the house and a restaurant and cafe with mini market in the village.
The house has a large living room with the original wood beams, 2 sofa beds, TV, DVD/CD, some books and games. There is a patio door leading out to the large garden from which you can see across the pretty countryside to the mountains beyond.

Barril de Alva is only 2kms from the pretty market town of Coja and approx. 12 kms from the district town of Arganil and has several cafes and a mini-market. There is a pretty river beach only 500ms from the house with a picnic area and a good cheap restaurant.
Coimbra is the nearest city approx. 50 mins drive and there is ski-ing on the Serra de Estrela thriugh the winter approx. 60kms away.
The area has many river beaches to explore where you can swim or relax, some have canoes and pedaloes for hire.
