Additional Location Information
The house is a five minute walk to the marina of Manguinhos beach and the very popular upscale restaurant complex, Porto da Barra -worth visiting and revisiting..
Porto da Barra is a very popular waterfront restaurant complex on the beach in Manguinhos. Here you will find Italian, Asian, Middle Eastern, French and Brazilian restaurants in a festive and upscale atmosphere. You can walk to the ocean, take a shuttle van to any of the beaches, have a cerveja at Escritorio, or watch the sunset while eating seafood appetizers and drinking caipirhinas at an oceanside table at the marina.
Do as much or as little as you want here. Relax at the pool, sleep in a hammock, rent a canoe, snorkle, surf, check out the people, shops, restaurants and clubs on Rua das Pedras in Centro, or take advantage of the many tours and attractions Buzios has to offer.
Getting around Buzios is easy and fun! You can rent a beach buggy (bugre), a moped, a bicycle or hail a shuttle van, cab, bus or water taxi. We recommend, however, that you rent a bugre to really enjoy your stay in Buzios.
Your hosts, Renato and Chuck speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

New YorkHome away from home with amazing hosts
Left on 05/27/2011 for a stay in May 2011
the rooms were very clean and the house was very cute. close to the beach and town. hosts were amazing, with a beautiful breakfast spread every morning. they showed us around town and were great people. it was a nice change from staying in hotels while traveling, more personal and home like feeling in a place far from home.

ChicagoPerfect weekend...
Left on 05/17/2011 for a stay in September 2010
This is my first review, but since my first time visiting, I've been back twice. Chuck and Renato are amazing hosts and really make the whole experience completely over the top. The house is just outside the bustling "Centro" area. The house is on a very quiet, quaint little street. It was so perfect for napping in the hammock, or just relaxing by the pool, no sounds of traffic or busyness. Across the street was a sort of restaurant park, with 10 different restaurants to choose from, all that I went to were great. It felt t me more like a home than a bed and breakfast, with Chuck and Renato acting more like hosting relatives than anything else. To get around freely you'll have to rent a car, or take a bus. Amazing way to spend 3 days, no doubt. Maravilhoso!!!

Sayville, New YorkA true vacation B&B; in Buzios
Left on 05/15/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This B&B; is beautiful and relaxing. The check in process was easy and the owners, Chuck and Renato, immediately make you feel comfortable and like you are at home. The rooms are open and bright, each with their own bathroom and great view. The whole residence, including the grounds, was immaculate. Upon waking up each morning, there was a large breakfast waiting. Chuck and Renato were great tour guides and directed us to places around Buzios, including an island cruise that is not to be missed. The B&B; was centrally located to the town but you can also spend time in the pool or relaxing in the hammock or lounge chairs. I would definitely revisit this B&B; and recommend this to other travelers looking for a wonderful experience while staying in Buzios, Brazil.

New YorkWonderful Stay!
Left on 05/14/2011 for a stay in February 2011
I highly recommend staying here! Hospitality was above and beyond any place I've stayed. Accommodations are clean, roomy, and comfortable with private, full bathrooms for each guest room. The private pool is an added perk! Buzios is beautiful and a fun, relaxed place to spend time away. The hosts, Chuck and Renato will see to it that you have anything you need. Ask them for a beautiful place to watch the sunset while drinking a caipirinha, just a walk away!

This was one of the best experiences we had. Buzios is a beautiful and fun city (make sure you visit arraial do Cabo). Renato and Chuck are great hosts. The place is amazing and at a great location. Soon after your arrival you start feeling like you are at home. Oh, and the dog, Obama, is the best! We are looking forward for our next trip to Buzios and Casa do Canto!
