My Fiance and I stayed in the cottage for 4 nights prior to getting married in Gretna Green in March. The cottage was absolutely perfect, very well kitted out, very cosy and well located. The owner was very excited that we had chosen their cottage to stay in for our 'pre marriage honeymoon' and even sent us a lovely wedding card ! Very thoughtful. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

A lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. Only a short distance from Carlisle, The Lakes and Scotland, but idylically quiet.
Local pub also very friendly and provided good quality food.
Cottage had all the amenities needed. The only down side it was very cold upon arrival and this + the stone floor was not suitable for our crawling baby.
The owner was very helpful, polite and flexible (as w had to keep changing dates).
Would definatley recommend. Had a peaceful and relaxing break...Thank you !

We had a wonderful holiday and the cottage was clean & Tidy, stocked with all the essentials and had plenty of logs to keep the aga and fire running. The location was peaceful and had a great wee shop and two wonderful pubs and both dog friendly.
