The spacious master suite has a large bathroom, soaking tub, ample closet space, and a gas woodstove. All bedrooms have their own gas fireplaces and flat screen TV’s.
This home comes with guest privileges to Blue Lake Springs seasonal recreation and private restaurant subject to guest fees.

We recently stayed at the Michele Chalet with our four teenagers and had an absolutely fantastic time. The location, style of the home, kitchen amenities and comfort of the rooms were superb. We will most definitely be renting again. I give this home my highest recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. My now husband and I had a small wedding ceremony at a friends vacation home up in Dorrington and we had a family reception here. Perfect for a small family event. It was also very romantic to start our Honeymoon in the mountain setting. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. The beds were comfy and the kitchen is stocked with cookware, even a belgin waffle maker. The deck is beautiful and the bath was wonderful. I soaked in it the night before my wedding very relaxing with a glass of wine. WE really pictured a Christmas at this venue with our kids and their grandparents. Would absolutely stay again.

This is a great rental that could easily be much sharper and more attractive. This quality property should be in better shape. Carpets and windows need cleaning. Cobwebs between furniture. blinds and sills dusty with spider webs and dead bugs. Stove was dirty with bugs. Water restrictors hamper even minimal showers, upstairs especially. Low flow toilets plug up on a regular basis...dirty area rugs thrown into the garage..periodic ant and bugs could be avoided...temporary and misshapen screen doors all around are a negative...basic yard maintenance coud improve drive by impression...this excellent property wouldn't take much to really spiff it up.

The property was fantastic and we would stay there again. The location was great because there was not alot of traffic noise.
The only thing I would recommend was some outside furniture to sit on and a gas barbecue would be nice.

Great house, attention needs to be given to the hotwater system and hot tub should be fixed if the cabin is to market and charge the comparable rate for the higher end category the cabin is in (it's beautiful). If hot tub is not fixable, rate should come down.

Terrific house, maybe we don't want to give a great review so it's available when we want it next! :) Only issue is with getting hot water to get going and stay going. And too bad the hot tub is not connected and working. Perhaps that is a temporary issue?

We had a spectacular time at the Michele Chalet. The home is beautiful and the windows gave us great views to watch the snow falling. We very much enjoyed the DVDs and sound system (using the iPod adapter) during our down time. There are great things to do close by too, visiting Murphy's and Big Tree. Our only disappointment was that the dishes had been put away dirty -- I think this is because the dishwasher was showing "clean" when the dishes weren't and someone was probably confused. I did share this with the rental agency so hopefully they can address. Another suggestion is to label the fan in the master bedroom. It was great that a lot of the light switches were labeled so it was easy to figure out how to turn things on but we couldn't figure out the fan and its light so that would be helpful as it was a little darker in the room than I would have preferred without that light. All-in-all, we loved the home and had a fantastic visit. We hope to return again!

This is a great place to stay. Very spacious and comfortable. The one complaint I would have is about the amount of hot water available. One shower plus running the dishwasher meant there was not enough hot water for the bath tub. We could not find the hot water heater to adjust it. We ended up boiling water on the stove for the bath. Except for this, everything was great.

We all agreed this was the most beautiful place we had ever stayed on vacation! Pictures cannot do this place justice. Not only was this home stunning to look at but was cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were each unique and featured memory foam mattresses for a great night's sleep. Oh, and the kitchen! Beautiful, spacious and very well equipped, it was just like being at home. Weather was not cooperative so we were not able to enjoy the patio deck but it was also very well equipped. Best lodging and best value of our California vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this very nice property in Blue Lake Springs. We had two families at the home but had ample space. The great room, open kitchen and high ceilings made a huge difference. The property is spotless and the ameneties were all first rate. I would stay at this property again. Great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the Michele Chalet. Some suggestions for improvement are: the soap dispensers should be filled (they were nearly empty upon arrival), the audio-visual equipment was not completely hooked up in the great room and bedrooms, and the fridge could use some updating. But overall a fantastic vacation home.

i figured out how to turn on the unit from the outside, but for a summer rental the air conditioning should be fully functional. Several screens were broken or torn. appliances were definitely a bit dated and the toaster oven seems to heat on its exterior to an unsafe temperature. The fan in the family room is not working. These were the issues but the overall experience was good. Computer access and nice flat screen TV's were a plus. Also the outdoor furniture was nice and seemed new however i wasn't sure how well maintained the water in the hot tub was. it didnt seem disenfected or treated properly.
The Best Part- The rental agent Sandi Pearce was excellent, friendly and helpful. i would definitely want to work with her again. She made the experience very positive.
