The Vistalmar is conveniently located along Aruba's south shore, southeast of Reina Beatrix International Airport. A quiet street separates the rental units from a large private seaside deck that guests enjoy. Just down the street, within walking distance, is one of Aruba's finest waterfront restaurants. To locate the Vistalmar, follow the signs for General Aviation or Marandi Restaurant. The location is convenient to Oranjestad, Arikok National Park, and to other areas to swim, hike, dive, explore nature, or dine. We have been staying at the Vistalmar for the past 10 years. The Vistalmar is our home away from home. Katy and alby, along with a wonderful staff, have made our stays most pleasant. We can't wait to return each year.

My family has stayed at the Vistalmar twice and we enjoyed both of our visits. It's quiet location and the style of the apartments themselves gives a person the feeling that they are staying in an arubian home. That is only enhanced by the fact that alby and Katy go out of their way to make you feel at home, all from the moment they pick you up at the airport and drop you off again.
Also, the price can't be beat. The cost of the apartment and the rental car together is far less expensive than the vast majority of places to stay in aruba. For those that want an affordable and quiet place to stay, I can't think of a better place in aruba!

The Vistalmar is the perfect place to stay in aruba. Every time we travel there, we stay with Katy and alby. The rooms are very clean, very comfortable and each one has the most fantastic view. Your hosts pick you up and drop you off at the airport, provide a car with your room if you choose and they also help you save so much money all over the island. They have lived there for decades and know every great place to see, every great place to eat at and always make themselves available should you need help with anything at all. You are in the center of the coast so you are only a very short ride to any beach and you can explore the island, instead of sitting in a confined hotel room. Balconies and patios are attached to every room and you have a full kitchen as well! The supermarkets in aruba are fantastic and we saved a ton of money by bringing some snacks to the beach and making breakfast at the room, dining al fresco on the balcony. If you are traveling to aruba and want to feel at home, this is the place. If you are looking for loud music and someone to fetch you drinks all the live long day, then this is not the place for you. The Vistalmar is a beautiful place where you will get a true vacation from your worries back home... I can't wait to go back!

The Vistalmar was a great place to stay and the pricing was very affordable. We had lots of room for our family of three, including a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator. The service was the best we ever had with lots of recommendations on where to go, what to do, and they even brought us dinner and some supplies on arrival as everything was closing for the Christmas holiday.
