    Additional Location Information

Aruba located in the Caribbean Sea, is the western-most island of the Netherlands Antilles. The curved west coast of Aruba is the epitome of tropical white sand beaches and kilometers long.

The east coast is characterized by limestone hills and plateaus and highly weathered mineral quartz rocks, which in some places appear in highly unique formations. The center of the island consists of volcanic rock.

The highest peaks of the island are the 189 meters high Jamonoto and the 188 meters high Arikok, both located in the Arikok National Park.

The capital of Aruba is Oranjestad, located about five minutes by car from Little Paradise Aruba.

In downtown Oranjestad you can go shopping and relax at one of the many terraces in the city, including many that overlook the ocean and port. At night the city is full of activity. The numerous restaurants offer international cuisine and the entertainment centers are open late. All of the casinos offer free admission.

Aruba always has a moderate to fairly powerful cool northeast trade wind. The weather changes between seasons are minimal and it is 80 degrees and above year round.

The official language is Dutch, although the residents also speak Papiamento and most speak English.

Aruba is One Happy Island - just check the license plates on our cars! It truly offers the ultimate holiday experience.

Not very easy to find, but a friendly welcome, a very quiet spot, clean and rather big appartments. The swimmingpool is not big but lovely.
Aruba Caribbean has a central location and is a good choice for a short or middle-long stay.
With our 2 couples we had a joined kitchen but seperate bathrooms, wich was very pleasant.

      Wonderful experience on aruba

Left on 04/14/2012 for a stay in March 2012

We stayed on aruba in March 2012, to visit our Son and daughter in low. We are quite people and we don't like the crowdie hotels very much. We prefer, staying in a nice and quiet place and this was exactly what we found with Rose-Marie and Frank in their great "Little Paradise” and our new companion, Princess. The parents of our daughter in low, stayed there before us and they told us to choose Little Paradise as a stay on aruba, we did and we are happy to do so. It's a wonderful place to stay, there is all you need and the owners are very nice people. They do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and they are always available when you need something. We hope to visit them again sometime and till then we will recommend "Little Paradise” to everyone who visit aruba, one beautiful and happy island.

What a great stay at Little Paradise! Very clean, neat, great lo

Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We stayed at Little paradise for couple of nights on our way from la to Venezuela to spend time with my family for New Years; and also for one night on our way back.

Although it was little time to spend in aruba we had an amazing time during our stay, and much of that was thanks to the attention and help provided by Rose Marie and Frank when coordinating our trip and plans.

Rose Marie and Frank met us at the airport upon our arrival and gave us a little tour of the west side of the island on our way from the airport to little paradise showing us where the main spots were, and what places we should go around and check out during our short stay. Once we arrived to Little Paradise, I was immediately very impressed with the property and the set up. It really looked like a little paradise to me! Right away, I was very happy with the decision of staying at Little Paradise.

As you enter there is a small pool in the center of the property which is perfect for going in and chilling throughout the day or night. Each of the apartments are facing this main pool area which is equipped with some beach chairs, floaties, and an outside shower. Each apartment also has a small porch with couple of chairs, and small table which can be used for playing cards or other games, or simply just placing your drink while you sit back and relax while enjoying aruba's nice weather.

We stayed at the 1 bedroom apartment, which was more than perfect for us since we were only staying for couple of days. The unit was equipped with a dinning table and chairs, refrigerator, stove, microwave, plates, glasses and cups, and other utensils that would have facilitated our stay should we had stay longer. Everything was very very clean, organized and really neat. The bedroom was very comfortable, maybe a little limited on space around each side of the bed, but it was perfect even for us who had a 4 large luggage for our multi-city trip. The bed itself was amazingly comfortable. I slept like a baby, and even overslept the next day although I am an early morning person!! I was in heaven! The bedroom also has a TV with cable, but no DVD. They probably would have provided us with one if we would have ask.

The bathroom was spacious and again very clean. There is not hot water, so be ready to be woken up as soon as you step in to the shower. The water itself wasn't freezing cold, it was just ambient temperature, so it was only a little bit of a shock, specially for those of us who are use to hot water on an everyday basis. Shower as well as Beach towels were provided which I thought was very thoughtful! Just a little heads up for those who travel with little travel essentials, be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo, or purchase some at the local stores in aruba if you do not want to carry them in your travel case, these are not provided since you are renting an apartment and not a hotel, however I am sure that they could probably be provided if you ask. This was not an issue for us since we always travel with all essentials, however it is worth mentioning if you are staying at little paradise in the near future so you make your necessary arrangements :)

The location of the property is not ideal if you are expecting beach front or to just be able to walk to the beach for a morning swim. Little Paradise is a little far away from the beach and main areas such as Downtown and the High Towers, not within walking distance, but about 5 to 10 minutes at most while driving. You might be able to go for a morning run to the beach, jump in, and then head back, that's if you'd like to go for a jog during your vacation, it'll more likely be a nice run I am sure, since it looks quite safe around the neighborhood. That being said, renting a vehicle is highly recommended if you are staying for more than just couple of days. Rose Marie and Frank were kind enough to drop us up at these areas, and we then took a Taxi cab back to little paradise. The cab itself was only $14 from the High Tower area, and I believe $12 from the downtown, this was also great for us since we were out having "adult beverages" and I prefer to let the driving to someone, especially while out in a foreign country. Next time I'll be booking a car, however, I'd still take the cab back after a night out on the town regardless.

I will most definitely be contacting Rose Marie and Frank during my next stay, which I will be planning soon for more than just a few days! This time we will be renting a car, doing more activities throughout the island, and also enjoying little paradise during the day! I have already recommended little paradise to Family and Friends and I definitely stand by my recommendation.

ohh and they also offered wi-fi service throughout the property at no extra cost.

Thank you very much Rose Marie and Frank!

A comfortable vacation spot when you don't want to feel like a t

Left on 01/27/2012 for a stay in January 2012

The property was beautiful and comfortable. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a fully equiped kitchen was perfect for 2 old friends to share but would be perfect for 2 couples and so afordable. You get to see things that you don't see if you stayed at a highrise. Expierence an aruban vacation, rent a car drive all over the island or like we did take the bus or walk the aruban people are so friendly. I missed my dog so much less because Princess ( the resident 6 pound dog ) hung out with us. It was the best vacation spot, the owners are young Canadians and go above and beyond to make your vacation what you want it to be.

My stay at Little Paradise aruba was great! The service was exceptional. Rose Marie and Frank welcomed us with open arms, and can't forget to mention their little dog Princess. They made sure we had everything we needed. The appartment was large enough for a family of four. They provided a high chair and playpen for my little girl during our stay. The environnement felt as if I was at home. It was always clean, it was private, and the neighborhood was quiet. I liked the fact that we lived with the locals. We got to see how they live and felt really safe. If you need suggestions on where to eat, Rose Marie and Frank know the best places to go.
Thank you Rose Marie and Frank for having us. We enjoyed our stay with the family. We will definitly come back to Little Paradise aruba on our next vacation.

well equiped, super clean, perfect size with 2 teenagers!

Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We stayed in the 2 bedroom and yes, 2 bathroom apartment the week before Christmas for 5 days. Rose-Marie and Frank met us at the airport pointing out landmarks along the way to the complex. The complex is super clean and has been freshly painted. There is a small pool and lounge chairs - a grill with table/chairs and laundry available for a small payment.

We traveled with our 2 teenage boys - what a blessing to have 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The boys room had 2 twin beds, TV, DVD player, our room: double bed, TV, can't remember if it had a DVD player! Kitchen with table/chairs separated the bedrooms. Kitchen provided everything we needed for breakfast/snacks. An added bonus was paper towels, dish soap, extra tp, few spices etc. The day we decided to grill out it rained other then that we experienced local cuisine.

It is located in a residential area and a car is most definitely needed - Rose-Marie and Frank can arrange an inexpensive rental with very nice basic car () - beaches/sights are not within walking distance but a few minutes driving. Walking distance there are a couple of bakeries, supermarkets (if desperate - better/bigger ones short drive), ice-cream. Be aware there are stray dogs and while out for a run was chased for a block by 3 of them!

Rose-Marie and Frank were fantastic providing tourist tips! They lent us beach chairs - a blessing, and provided beach towels.

Did I miss anything - oh, would most definitely recommend.
