A Country Retreat SouthEast of Asheville, near Hendersonville and Chimney Rock Park.
Our Cabins, located on 20 country acres, are 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Normally Sleep 2, the Cabin on the Hill and the Cabin in the Meadow Can also Sleep 2 Children on Queen Size Sofa Bed in Living Room. Sorry, no pets. The Cabin on the Hill, Cabin in the Woods, and Cabin at the Trailside are on the edge of the woods, which extent for miles and miles.
Two night minimum most of the time, 3 nights or longer on holidays or holiday weekends.

Four one bedroom cabins located on 20 partially wooded country acres just a mile from the Eastern Continental Divide, with our own pond and access to Clear Creek (state trout waters). Our land backs up to miles and miles of woods. Great location for exploring Western North Carolina's forests, mountains, waterfalls, parks, and our many cultural events: fairs, bluegrass and old time music, clogging, and theater. Chimney Rock Park, Lake Lure and the charming historic town of Hendersonville all within a 20 minute drive. Enjoy flowering orchards in Spring, and the Apple Harvest in the fall. Check out our local wineries. The Biltmore Estate and Asheville are only 45 minutes away, over a scenic back country road. Hiking galore at Chimney Rock Park, the Florence Preserve, and Bearwallow Mountain on our side of Hendersonville. Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest just on the other side of Hendersonville.

See the next review dated October 25, 2012. I can affirm that it was amazing. Especially enjoyed lounging in the private hot tub after a day of hiking. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and we drove to asheville, Lake Lure, and Hendersonville; so though this was rather remote, it was central to all the places we visited. Thanks

Amazing! Everyone else had said it all. Stayed in Cabin in the Woods. Secluded but only a few moments from town. Comfy bed! Hot tub was amazing! Loved sitting in the porch and living in the robes! Kaye was great too! She really knows her stuff! Only complaint, really tiny shower, but that's really not a big deal. Definitely going back!!!

This was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Very secluded and cozy and the hot tub was to die for. The inside of the cabin was rustic--knotty pine floor to ceiling--but new (built in 2006) and full of amenities. Just bring your clothes and food--everything else is there. The small gas fireplace was awesome and so was the huge porch with rocking chairs and dining set. I just can't say enough great things about this place. You won't regret staying here and you won't want to leave.

My husband and I stayed in The Cabin in the Woods and had the ultimate getaway experience. We were secluded enough to do anything we wanted but still within 20 min to restaurants and nearby attractions. The cabin was perfect for us. Everything was very well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. The bath robes were especially nice. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet couples retreat.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin. The area is beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable and well equiped. My favorite part was the hot tub overlooking the woods. I plan on making this an annual event.

The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. Spectacular views, easy directions, things to see and do,etc...

This was a great place to stay, we were at the Cabin on the Hill.Kaye is very helpful when you first arrive at showing you how everything works and places to go. The view was amazing and the fall colosr beautiful! It has everything you need and perfect for a couple! Loved the hot tub, fireplace, and rocking on the porch! It was a perfect mountain trip! we did some hiking during the day and downtown Hendersonville has great shops and food! I will be staying here again!

We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary--and this cabin could not have been a more perfect place! We brought in our own food and hardly left the place for 4 days! So much good quiet time to talk, read, rest, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub at night! very different from our nromal city life. We are definitely going back!!!
