      Best Vacation we've ever had!

Left on 07/22/2012 for a stay in June 2012

From the start of the trip to the end of out time on the mountain, we had one of the best vacations ever. The views were breath taking and the pictures on your website don't do the cabins justice. We were more than pleased with the amenities of the cabin. We plan to come back again next year.

It's good to know that you found the cabin well stocked and we hope that you were able to make the most of the amenities, like the private hot tub. Excellent!

What a great experience that we had! I enjoyed the stay to the fullest. There were 12 of us that stayed and we all had a great time, there was enough space and enough activities to keep the kids occupied. Although, it rained our entire stay, we loved the cabin and it was very comfortable and spacious. Everything was made easy!!!

We loved our visit and the cabin was great. The views were spectacular...so quiet and lovely...the hot tub we used all the time...the pool table and PaC man the kids loved...we will difinitely come again...a great hide out place. It was so nice to use a fireplace because we just do not use them much in Florida..highly recommended...5stars...they need delivery up there...it's not that far but everyone seems to think it is.

      Relaxing

Left on 03/01/2012 for a stay in February 2012

The cabin could have been cleaner. I noted that the wood floors needed cleaning and there were cob webs in some of the rooms. When we arrived there was a sewer smell in the cabin,it was very strong on the lowest level. We thought it was the propane gas but ruled that out. I left a note about it with the key.
The heat pump and gas logs worked very well and we all stayed warm on each level. The views were great and the hot tub was very pleasant.

Thanks for providing this review. We take guest comments seriously and make every effort to resolve ALL issues. Housekeeping has been made aware of these comments and special attention will be given. Our plumbers were called in to resolve the odor described. thanks Management Owner Comment-- “ We arrived at the cabin a few days after you left. Our experience with the cleaning crew at the cabin is extremely good. We always remark on how clean and organized the cabin is when we arrive. We did note that the floors on the main level are not dirty, but are showing allot of scratches. The main level floors are pine plank and do require maintenance. We hand polish them in the spring, and they look new for some time. We had a lot of renters over the ski season, and it appears we will need to polish twice a year to keep them looking good year round. With regard to the odor, our rental management company sent a plumber in immediately when they found your message, and they found a cracked vent in the utility room. The problem was fixed and we had no problem during our stay. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope you come back”

We had a great time. The people were friendly and the snow was fine - despite some rain and warm weather.

A couple of requests/notes: we were only given enough dishwasher detergent for two loads (those little packets). We needed more.

Also, check your rental boots (this is more for the resort). Two kids were given different sized boots.

Great place for a family get together...

Left on 12/28/2011 for a stay in December 2011

First of all, my previous cabin rental in North Carolina was a very bad experience. (Never stay at Blue Ridge Cabin Rentals.) I had reservations about staying in another cabin in NC but thought I would give it another try. I'm glad I did. Senic Wolf Resort has restored my faith in cabin rentals. The staff was very pleasant and after hearing of my previous cabin rental in NC, did a walk thru of my cabin with me upon arrival and then checked on me each day of my stay. Kudos to the staff for making this a great experience.
This cabin housed eight adults and three very small children well. There were two bedrooms on the upper level, one on the middle level, and one on the lower level. Each level had a full bath and there was a half bath on the main level.
Liked the open floor plan. I could be cooking in the kitchen and still keep tabs on everyone in the living room and dining room area. The kitchen was very well stocked including spices, bakeware, and pots and pans. (I brought my own bakeware and didn't have to use it.)
The cabin is truly within walking distance of the powder hill ski slope and within walking distance of on of the ski lifts. Unforutnately, there was no snow during our stay to try out the slopes and the ski lift. Hopefully, the next time I visit, I will be able to comment on that.
This cabin is about a 45 min drive to asheville. I recommend visiting the Biltmore if you never have. There is a Zip line just a few exits away and you are a few exits away from Mount Mitchell State Park.
The only drawback that I have is that the hot tub is located on the very bottom deck which is not accessible from within the cabin. You have to go out on the middle deck to gain access to the lower deck to get to the hot tub. Would have used the hot tub if it was within a reasonable distance from the back door. Was afraid I would turn into an icicle on the way back inside the cabin.
