We stayed at the Black Bear Lodge at Scenic Wolf Resort and had a blast. It was my husband's family reunion. His family occupied 3 lodges, but ours was the best. The other two lodges were missing furniture on the lower levels and were not as clean as our lodge was according to my husband's family. We loved our unit as the views were spectacular and the accommodations were superb!

very nice to be able to check in early.nice weekend and thunderstorm fri-nite was intense!! enjoyed our time here again @ the resort,but not this one.hot-tub upstairs a plus.could not connect to internet for some reason. hot-tub on deck would not get above 94 @ all.and 3 of the jets not working. we made the best anyhow!! would definitley recommend to all those who inquire!!we left a food lion card for future renters and hope they can use. thnx again, david,lisa,jacob & mike.

What a wonderful weekend! Words can not express the enjoyment we experienced during our recent stay at Black Bear Lodge 221. The cabin was fantastic - a five star lodging! Nothing was lacking in comfort. The views were breathtaking and the skiing was just steps away from the cabin. We have enjoyed staying at Scenic Wolf Resort for several years. We look forward to our next visit and the wonderful accomadations. An Experience to remember!

We absolutely loved the cabin, nicely decorated and well appointed with linens & kitchenware, very comfortable beds and couches, thank you. Great parking at this cabin, as well. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so there was no snow. I had been hoping that the lodge (for at least dinners) and swimming pool would be open for use but they were not. We would love to come back as long as it was during peak ski season.

Black bear lodge is a beautiful, relaxing, and calming vacation rental. As a spouse I believe it destroyed any small or major developing, petty arguments and disagreements. It's big but its perfect for a couple. Every level of the house had something great to offer along with a beautiful view, whether you were looking from the inside or standing out on one of the three decks. We really enjoyed our stay and immediately started planning our next stay in the same cabin! The therapeutic Black Bear Lodge brought all negatives to an end but it also brought a start to a new vacation tradition for my family.

We had the best time ever! Our cabin was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We are already planning when we can go back.We couldn't ask for a better cabin and we have been to alot. The location was perfect. We usually go to Gatlinburg but now our mountain trip will be to mars hill, scenic wolf resort!

This is a beautiful home. Easy check-in and out painless and keys were available in late arrival box as stated.
Amazing amenities with fun pool table,
and TVs in every room. It was decorated beautifully but also very comfortably. The top floor jacuzzi a real fun plus and nice bedding. The location was also good because we had an end cabin high on the mountain.
The cleanliness was impeccable. Bravo!
The view was great and every level had balconies.
It had nice updated kitchen appliances.
For golfers, we were able to golf at the Wolf Laurel
golf club. Very challenging but gorgeous and fun. Bring lots of balls.
As for what was best, was staying there and least was having to leave.
