La Crescent, MinnesotaWish I could find Swiss Chalets in every city we vacation in!
Left on 06/22/2012 for a stay in June 2012
My husband, dog and I stayed in the Geneva chalet for 3 days in June but we wished we could have stayed a week. The chalet was cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The amenities were wonderful for the reasonable price. Everything was there for us. We only needed to bring our clothes and food. Jake, our dog, loved the dog treats and we loved the cookies and candy dish full of M&Ms; waiting for us when we arrived!!! We used the $10 gc at the Well Bred Bakery in Weaverville too. What a nice treat!!! If we go back to asheville this is the only place we will consider staying.

My husband and pet dog Princess and I stayed at the asheville Swiss Chalets Beau Cottage and had a great time and we would like to rate the asheville Swiss Chalets as the best place to stay in asheville when you bring along your pet or even if you don't. This is the third asheville Swiss Chalet cottage that I have stayed at and I was not dissappointed. It was indeed a Luxury cottage stocked with everything you would need to make yourself feel pampered and on vacation. Judy and her staff think of everything to make their guests comfortable. Did I mention the fresh baked cookies and candy dish filled with M& M,s, the plush bath robes and towels, 2 different kinds of coffee beans and coffee grinder just waiting for you to brew yourself a cup of coffee and sit on the beautifully decorated cottage porch as you are rocking in your rocking chair while taking in the mountain view and smelling the fresh air while listening to birdsong?. I just got home from my vacation and I already want to go back. To make a long story short. I would never think of booking a vacation cottage anywhere else when I come to asheville.

Hooked on Asheville Swiss Chalets
Fort Myers, FloridaA Piece of Heaven
Left on 06/08/2011 for a stay in May 2011
This was the most lovely vacation rental we have ever stayed in. We were hesitant because of it being dog-friendly, but you didn't see a speck of dust, let alone a dog hair. The chalet was well decorated, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen including whole coffee beans for freshly ground coffee. When you first enter the chalet, you think your mind is playing tricks on you because there is an aroma of fresh-baked cookies. In fact, there are fresh-baked cookies on the table! Waking up in the morning is music to your ears. Since you are in a treehouse you wake to the most beautiful birds singing. I've never heard birds sing so pretty. You wonder if the bird songs are piped in. Enjoy a wonderful walk around the mountain and enjoy the peacefulness. Hop in your car and in minutes you are at Biltmore, or in the eclectic downtown area. Give yourself another 15mins to ride to Weaverville and take advantage of the Gift Certificate from the Well-Bread Bakery. Each day they have new sandwiches, gourmet salads, and cookies! I don't want to submit this recommendation because I don't want everyone to know about the best kept secret in asheville. But for Judy, I will. Thank you Judy.

Everything was perfect. My 2 Bostons loved the porch and dog run. It was close to everything and was the best and cleanest dog-friendly place I have ever stayed.

You'll Never Want to Stay at a Hotel Again!
Tallahassee, FloridaGreat Value and Location
Left on 04/15/2011 for a stay in March 2011
My husband and I enjoyed staying at The alpine. We felt like we were home. I didn't expect it to be so close to everything. Even the grocery store was just down the hill. Because we have lived in Florida so long, it took us a couple of days to get used to the hills and sharp turns to get to our chalet. Driving on the Blue Ridge was fun but scary at times. But we just enjoyed the Swiss Chalets and asheville so much. We're already talking about a trip back next year.

Our stay was great and it was a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday! It was easy to get to the trails for hiking and mountain biking during the day and super close to downtown for the night time. It was great being able to bring out dog and have a mini fenced in yard. The place was warm and cozy and had all the things we could possibly need. It was a great experience. My only compliant was that when I called the phone number on the website to clarify whether they had places available the lady I spoke to was not very friendly and somewhat rude and short with me. Base on that I would have taken my business elsewhere but decided to stay with the place because of location, pet accommodation and price. Customer service might be something you want to look into working on. Thank you!

los angeles CASwiss Chalets are what asheville is about
Left on 03/25/2011 for a stay in June 2010
We've stayed at several chalets in all seasons, including the month of June, over Christmas holidays, and next May and June 2011. We cannot adequately express our affection for each. Greeted with every accessory, like fully stocked kitchen, fresh baked cookies, free laundry facilities and, most importantly, easy access to asheville's fabulous downtown eating and entertainment (not to mention the Biltmore). Close to famed, hikeable Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway, two beautiful off-leash dog parks, golf, and other sports and parks, you return "home" after your forays to many delightful adventures, and there you are: in Switzerland, or so it seems. Mountain living at its finest.
We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
