We had a great stay at 202 the Lofts at 16 Church St. The location is perfect! Church St is between Pritchard Park and Pack Square in the center of town. The loft is located just far enough from Patton ave so that it's quiet at night. The apartment is nicely furnished and decorated. The skylights add a lot of nice daylight. The appliances in the kitchen, the cable television and the WiFi connections all worked well. Convenient parking is close at the public garage on S. Lexington ave. Overall, the loft felt secure, quiet and comfortable.

      Perfect in Every Way

Left on 10/14/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Our recent stay in 202 at The Lofts at 16 Church Street was everything we expected and a lot more. I read a lot of reviews to decide where we stay while traveling and every review of this place was spot-on. The most important factor for me when choosing a place to stay is cleanliness, and 202 was exceptionally clean…..even to sparkling lampshades and lighting fixtures…simply no dust to be found anywhere! I am a sheet-snob of the highest order and was pleased with the quality of the bedding and linens, a plus that complemented the exceptionally comfortable bed.

The loft is filled with natural light from 3 large skylights, and table and floor lamps abound, as well as attractive overhead fixtures. The kitchen is well stocked for the most adventurous cook, and Steve and Donna provide a wonderful coffee service. Their thoughtfulness is evident in the real cream in the refrigerator and the to-go coffee cups in the pantry.

The entire loft is tastefully and stylishly decorated and without clutter. We loved the character of the exposed brick walls and vintage wood flooring, but appreciated the fact that everything else within the loft was new. Rain on the skylights was sweet music when falling asleep and when the sun was shining the deck had comfortable seating and was a great place to people-watch over morning coffee or sunset cocktails.

The owner is very accessible and very helpful with questions about asheville. The location of the loft was perfect for exploring downtown asheville on foot with restaurants and galleries within easy walking distance I have already recommended this loft to friends and we are planning a trip back to asheville and will definitely stay here again.

I have been traveling to asheville for years. Recently I have stayed at these Lofts in downtown. I programmed the manager in my phone and will not stay anywhere else. They are brand new and like a 5 star experience. They are in the heart of asheville walking to restaurants, bars and shopping. They are so comfortable with historic brick walls and refinished floors but everything else is new, it feels like home. WiFi, movie channels. I can't wait to go back.

Everytime we come into town we love to be able to use this space. It is like wisking ourselves away to a posh upscale city apartment nestled in the sweet little town of asheville. We especially appreciate how everything we need is within walking distance from the loft and all the conviences of home! Thanks again!
