Located on 20 wooded acres in a rural area just a mile from the Eastern Continental Divide, with access to Clear Creek. Great location for exploring Western North Carolina's forests, mountains, waterfalls, parks, and our many cultural events: fairs, bluegrass and old time music, clogging, and theater.

Cabins are 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Normally Sleep 2, the Cabin on the Hill and the Cabin in the Meadow Can also Sleep 2 Children on Queen Size Sofa Bed in Living Room.

Vacation Rental Agreement:
Cabin rental is subject to our Vacation Rental Agreement as provided by North Carolina law. The information below list the most important points of the Vacation Rental Agreement.

Minimum Stay:
We require a 2 night minimum stay, and a 3 night minimum for fall weekends and on holiday weekends. We occasionally make cabins available for a one night stay if we have a single night open, and we occasionally waive the minimum stay requirements on reservations made shortly before the arrival date.

Deposit:
A rent deposit (by credit/debit card) of one days rental or 1/3 of the total reservation cost (whichever is greater) is required to hold your reservation. The deposit is applied against your rental amount upon arrival.

We also have online reservations which enables you to make the deposit payment online as well. Or you can make the reservation online without payment information and we will call you to get that information.

If you must cancel your reservation your deposit will be refunded (less a $35 processing fee) ONLY if you cancel 30 days in advance (60 days for stays of 7 nights or more), or if we are able to rent the cabin for the days you had reserved. A refund (less a $35 processing fee) is provided for emergency early departures only if we are able to rent the cabin for the days you had reserved.

Payment of Balance:
The balance is due upon arrival by cash or by Mastercard or Visa credit cards. For those arriving before or after our check-int times of 4 PM to 8 PM, we ask that you pay your balance in advance, so we can just leave the cabin open for your arrival.

Occupants:
Cabins sleep 2 people and some can sleep up to a family of 4. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Check-In/Check-Out:
Check in is between 4PM and 8 PM. Check out is 11AM or before. For those arriving before or after our check-in times of 4 PM to 8 PM, we ask that you pay your balance in advance, so we can just leave the cabin open for your arrival. We can sometimes accommodate earlier check-in or later check-out. We do need to be notified of your arrival time so we can meet you at the cabin.

Tax: There is a 12.75% tax (state and county).

Pets: Sorry but we cannot acccomodate pets.

Smoking: The cabins are non-smoking.
