Romantic cabin semi-secluded in timber along a tranquil stream located 1/2 mile from the Nisqually main gate to Mt Rainier National Park. This cabin sits at the back of the property at the end of a short path, under cedar trees with wild flowers and ferns surrounding it. It shares nearly an acre with the larger Totem cabin at the front of the property. Relax in the deck chairs outside in your own private area next to the creek while you BBQ on the charcoal grill, or just watch the deer grazing nearby. There is also the shared fire pit between the two cabins, for roasting marsh-mellows and hotdogs or socializing. Want to stretch your legs? Fol...low the shared walking path across tranquil Tenas Creek walking bridge and across the Cooper stream walkway up to Highway 706. From there you can wander 1/4 mile west of the cabin to Alpine Gift Shop where there are interesting gifts and great local art to peruse. Just a bit further and you will be at Wildberry restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating next to the trout pool. And a little further is Alexander Country Inn with another wonderful restaurant. The interior of this cozy cabin is beautifully finished pine floors & walls with log beams on the ceiling. A high long window above the kitchenette lets in natural light while giving a view of the cedar tree tops. The cabin has an entry area that leads into the main studio portion of the cabin where the bed, fireplace, kitchenette and pub table are located, and the attached private bathroom with shower is just past this portion of the cabin. The queen bed with new cushy mattress has an extra thick mattress pad, 600 thread count linens, electric blanket for cold nights, soft blankets, and warm comforter. Snuggle up and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen TV from the selection of DVD's provided or just watch the wood fire in the interesting old stone fireplace. Romantic and cozy! The kitchenette has a mini fridge with small freezer for ice cubes, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, coffee maker, wine glasses, glasses, cups, plates, bowls, & service for two. Complimentary: firewood for the fireplace, charcoal and starter for the grill, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot cider, & popcorn are all provided.

Quiet neighborhood just outside Mt Rainier National Park where deer feel comfortable wandering about and grazing in sight of the cabin. Park in the gravel parking space in front of the Tahoma sign, and follow the short path to back of the property to the quaint cabin with the moss covered stone fireplace. Nearby activities include gift shops, restaurants, hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain climbing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sight seeing, waterfalls, picnicing, camping, boating, wildlife viewing and more.

  We stayed the weekend for our first anniversary and loved having the privacy of this cabin. We were close to the park which made it easy to drive in to Paradise for our day hike. In the evenings, we were a short drive from Wildberry Restaurant and the Copper Creek Inn. The fire pit just outside our front door was perfect for relaxing at night with a glass of wine near the bonfire, and the dartboard was an added bonus.
  The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved being able to watch movies (good selection provided) at night. The bed was very comfortable and the many windows looked out on the creek and forest. It was so green and beautiful. We would love to come back and stay again!
