The "Cardinal" is a beautiful one bedroom/one bath vacation home. The "Cardinal" is tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, outdoor barbeque, wireless internet and cable television. The vine covered patio provides a peaceful setting for outdoor dining and relaxing. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The "Cardinal" is located in quiet neighborhood just a short walk to downtown and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

We stayed in the Duck, an unpretentious little cottage, with a lovely garden, a grassy yard, and air conditioning. The owners of these cabins have really thought of everything. My husband and I travel quite a bit, but we couldn’t find a single negative thing to say about abbott’s Cottages (for contrast see my review of Green Springs Inn, 20 miles from ashland).
All the appliances worked, the cottage itself was spacious, and the refrigerator and pantry space was ample. The cottage is in a nice neighborhood, 0.7 miles from the Shakespeare Theater. The sofa and chairs were comfortable. Little extras were provided such as napkins, extra toilet paper, coffee filters, a tablecloth, etc. There’s a wooden porch with a table for outdoor dining, if the weather permits. -

Abbott's Cottages is the place to stay in ashland. I've stayed in lots of Bed and Breakfast style places but when compared to this vacation rental, they all seem over-rated. The cost and the convenience of staying at abbott's Cottages made me think I was living at home.
Also, I love that the vacation rental is located within a short distance from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and beautiful downtown ashland, or. After a long day of viewing the local environment, it was refreshing to come back to a home (not a room) to settle down for the night.
Additionally, the management team at abbott's Cottages was courteous and thorough in their handling of my reservation and any questions I had were answered in a timely and professional manner. The next time I plan a vacation in ashland, I'm staying at abbott's Cottages.
