Madrid, SpainGirls Night Out Special
Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We loved staying at Maxfield's.. We are seven friends who travel together a couple of times a year. The house gave us what we needed : downstairs beds for those with mobility problems, the other two nicely appointed bedrooms were upstairs. The house is full of antiques and collections of this and that so it feesl like a real home. We like to cook with each other and the kitchen had enough equipment and dishes so that was quite possible. The parlor and porches offered group seating or reading nooks. The owner is responsive and it was easy to make the arrangements. We strolled back and forth to the plays we had chosen...It was a great long weekend. We would rent this house again. Parking behind the house for two cars.

OrindaVictorian gem
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My family of 4 was superbly comfortable for our 4 day stay in this beautifully restored Victorian home in ashland, Oregon. It was a great base for seeing the Shakespeare plays (walking distance) as well as for day trips to river rafting on the Klamath River, and visiting nearby wineries, a creamery and a chocolatier. The house was immaculate and the owner extremely accessible and responsive. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to ashland.

Gilroy, CAA Must Stay!
Left on 07/05/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My wife, two adult daughters and I are just leaving Maxfield's after an incredible July 4th holiday. We stayed at Maxfield's for three nights. We're still blown away that Steve, the owner, would put so much love into a home, and then let others stay. If you want an authentic ashland, or experience, strongly consider staying here. It's perfectly located in town, very close to all amenities, including a grocery store. We walked everywhere from the home, took in the theater, watched the parade from the front porch, etc. The house is very quiet, the rooms are spacious, beds great and lots of room.

Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This beautiful little house was a perfect place for a sisters weekend. It was so cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The location was perfect for an easy walk to downtown ashland for shopping and dining. We hope to make this one of our annual destinations for our Sisters weekend. Thanks Steve!
