The good news is that Aspen had their best snow fall of the season the weekend I arrived. The bad news is that my plane was scheduled to arrive on Saturday night at 7:05 PM (9:05 Atlanta time) but we ended up landing in Grand Junction and being bussed to Aspen. I arrived at Lift One at 3:00 AM and found an envelope with my name and my key taped to the office door. When I walked into the condo, I loved everything about it.....but, more than anything else, I loved the bottle of white wine waiting for ME on the beautiful kitchen counter. After 13 hours of travelling, I didn't care if it was 5 in the morning, I sat on the sofa, looked out at Aspen mountain and had a glass of wine. What a great way to end a very trying day!
The next afternoon, I discovered the new refrigerator was constanly running, I couldn't fine the remote for the TV in the bedroom and was having trouble with the remote in the living room. I called the office and within 10 minutes someone was there to fix the fridge and solve the remote mysteries. He also switched TVs in the bedrooms and made everything perfect.
I loved the location. We could walk up the hill to Lift One, walk to the downtown area in five minutes and walk a block to get on the bus to Buttermilk or Snowmass. Lots of action when we wanted it but lots of peace and quiet when we were sitting in the living room looking out at the mountain. I can't wait to come back to Aspen and will definitly stay at Lift One....it was great. -

A great place for 4 adults. Excellent beds, daily maid service, a terrific outdoor hot tub and pool. The staff proved very accommodating when one of our party was stranded due to a flight cancellation. Convenient to ski area buses. This was our second year at Lift One and we look forward to future visits.

Great place. Unit was well furnished and equipped. Quiet, spacious and very comfortable. All the services were terrific - very helpful front desk; room cleaned very well each day. The location is very convenient for bus drop off and the center of town.

A condo in downtown Aspen steps away from the center of town. Staff was quite accommodating and helpful. Has off street parking included.
Condo furnishings were up to date and kitchen fully equipped.
Best part - they did not gouge me during Presidents week rental.
Would definitely rent again next visit

My family has been traveling to Aspen for ski vacations for more than 15 years, and my sister moved there around 10 years ago, so we know the town well. We used to stay at the Holland House, which used to be right down the street. But since it was sold several years ago, we started staying at Lift One, and it has been great.
This trip, we were there for my sister's wedding. We have two small children, and the condo was perfect for the four of us. It is key to have the kitchen and two bathrooms! The location of Lift One is great with easy access to everything: bus stops, restaurants, shopping, trails, mountains, etc. The staff were very accommodating. For instance, they loaned us pack-n-plays and a high chair for the kids, helped coordinate pick up and drop off of the tuxedos for the wedding party, assisted us with the laundry facilities, etc. They also have computer access and all the other facilities and amenities you could want. The condo was also beautifuly decorated, clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay there again.
