Chateau Dumont is a very aesthetic and comfortable place to stay. It is well equipped and very functional. The property managers were attentive and the housekeeping good. The down side is that there are two flights of stairs to climb which can be tiring after a day skiing and there is no outlook. What I liked most was the decor and layout and also the proximity to the mountain. I would definately stay there again.

Very poor layout of living and dining area with the television hung in a corner above the dining table. Feels like the arranging was done by a group of college freshmen. Low water pressure. Poor bedside lighting. This is not a nice unit. But in aspen as we all know you rarely get what you pay for

Thank you for taking the time to send your suggestions, we take your feedback seriously. We took this opportunity to review the condominium. This condominium has been renovated and is rated deluxe, the furnishings and fixtures are highly rated. However, we did find the lighting and nightstands in the bedrooms can be improved. We will contact the condominium owner to suggest these improvements. The flatscreen TV is set up on a swivel to allow viewing from the living room or kitchen. Many of our guests have requested this option. Keep the comments coming. They help us enhance our future guests lodging experience and be the best that we can be!

Two blocks from the aspen mountain Gondola and across the street from the supermarket and grog shop.Also near to the shuttle bus service to the other mountains.
