Denver, COVery disappointing
Left on 10/28/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We checked in and the look of the place was beautiful. We settled in, and the TV and the remote did not work properly. We replaced the batteries, and no difference. The bed in the master suite was so hard that we could not sleep on it. On the first morning, we received no cleaning service.
Having said all of that, the worst part was that both above and below us there was construction going on. From 8 to 5, there was constant banging and pounding up and down the stairs. We were on vacation and had hoped for a nice, quiet
week. Given the number of properties that you manage and the lack of people in aspen at the time, I would have expected to be asked if we wanted to go somewhere else because of the noise.
I have stayed here before and had none of these problems.
The location was perfect. We could hear the river (when the banging stopped), and we enjoyed the fireplace and the aspen Spa.
In all, I expected more from you.Response from Frias Properties of Aspen - 12/28/2012

I always enjoy the service and product available from Frias Properties of aspen. On my recent trip back to aspen I was delighted with the accommodation provided at Chateau Roaring Fork #25. This cosy well-appointed 2 bedroom apartment suited our needs perfectly. Located just a few short blocks from the centre of town, and on the banks of the river provided a tranquil retreat that was still within easy reach of all of our favourite aspen restaurants and bars, without all of the noise!

It was my first time to aspen and I was totally impressed with all the accomodiations from start to finish. From helping to arange bus transportation from and to Denver to the meeting room for a group meeting.

Here's the deal: The Frias staff is the key to this being a great visit. That includes the office, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel. They were friendly, quick, and professional.
We liked the location along the river and the convenience of being at the end of Durant. The unit was slightly less than the unit we stayed in the Chateau Eau Claire because the furniture wasn't as good; just too big for the size unit.
That's looking hard for something to like the least. I gave my travel agent your number knowing that anyone she sent to you would be treated well. -

Everything was great. Condo was clean and well outfitted and cozy. The only negative was that the office staff was late calling in our shuttle request from the airport and totally forgot to call for an airport run for one of our guests.
Otherwise, we'll be back. Thanks -

We had a great stay at Chatteau Roaring Fork #25. We had exceptional sleeping conditions for 4 men on a ski venture.
We enjoyed the hot tub every night, used the CD, DVD and TV for entertainment. We cooked breakfast(suggestion: leave back door open for ventilation while cooking bacon) and barbequed at night and were very comfortable staying in.
Since it is in such a great location, we were also able to walk into town at night for dinner and catch a quick shuttle or bus to all ski resorts in the area everyday.
The setting is awesome, on the outskirts of the main part of town overlooking the river and looking up to the mountains off the back deck.
I come back in a heartbeat!
