We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Xgames weekend.
Comfort:
The beds were very comfortable and I felt right at home with how accommodating the owner was "You're welcome to eat/use anything in the house." Plenty of additional linens/towels & pillows. Tons of space and fun (pool table, hot tub, grill, games).
Location:
Perfect for catching the free shuttle to the Xgames and around town.
Amenities:
There was a huge fridge in the kitchen and another smaller one in the living room & the basement. Plus a big ice machine.
All appliances worked great & the house was wired with speakers throughout the house which was nice to play music. However we couldn't get the system in the basement to work or out on the deck and there was no iPod connector, so we had to just play the radio.
Complaints:
The property manager said that someone would be coming by to fix the TV in the basement. This never happened & was a little frustrating when we were hanging out in the basement & couldn't watch the Xgames
The left side of the sink clogged really fast just after washing dishes in it and we weren't able to use it the rest of the weekend
parking:
Absolutely ridiculous. The only two spots available behind the house were taken by the owner. Our only option was to park on the street in front of the house (not in front of any of the neighbors) for only 2 hours a day from 8am-6pm M-F. We were originally told that we should move our cars every 4 hours to avoid a ticket, but still got a ticket after moving our car down the block - I was able to argue it, but it would've been $70. I was told by the parking company that the owner can request Guest passes, but those were not available to us. Luckily weekends were free, but Thur & Friday was very nerve racking.
Other than that really had a great time! -

DallasPerfectly Relaxing Home!

First of all, the location was excellent. We were a party of 4 adults and a baby and walked everywhere, shopping, dinner...and the longest was a 15 minute walk. The home itself was very well appointed and had everything we needed, plus a little extra. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of skiing. They even made sure to have a baby bed and high chair for our 9 month old when we arrived. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay there again ourselves!
