After being in Asti for 9 successful years in the B&B; business, offering unique hospitality, a warm welcome and a friendly home from home enviroment we would like to share some of our way of life with you all!.
Why did we decided to open a bed & breakfast in Asti and escape the 'hussel and bussel' of corporate life?...
"Whether its dogs snuffling around roots of trees to sniff out the world’s richest crop of white truffles, sitting on a designer bar stool in some chic café in Turin, sipping or...Read more

I was looking for an Italian cooking course as a present for my wife in the Piedmont (Piemonte) region and happened by chance to find Cascina Bella Vista.
The very warm and friendly owners of this recently renovated B&B also offer a cooking course (where you can also cook in a professional kitchen) and the chance to try a number of the local restaurants, visit the local markets etc.
Jason and Peggy welcomed us into their home in the unspoilt Italian countryside and gave us stories of Italy and the region over a glass or two in the balmy summer evenings... a perfect break.... and I even learnt how to make accacia flower tempura!! -

The rooms, the breakfast, the location....and most importantly the hosts....were simply the best. We always feel like we have come home when we stay at Cascina Bella Vista.

Found Cascina Bella Vista by accident three years ago and have been back every year since!
We are always given a very warm welcome, and nothing is too much trouble for this lovely couple, Peggy and Jason. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed, and the only way to describe the breakfast (and any other meals when you order them) is fabulous. The villa is very well situated for sightseeing in the lovely countryside around Asti, with easy access to Turin by rail. We have also been horse-riding, and visited a wine growers where we tasted and bought some of their wines. In all, a great experience which we are hoping to repeat this year! -

Superlatives only, nothing less, are adequate to describe our week long stay at Cascina Bella Vista.
Hosts? The best. Accomadations? Tops. Location? Indescribable. I loved every moment I was there.
And the treasure for discovery in the area? Wine roads and vineyards, ancient Roman sites, historical sites, quaint hill towns, legendary sites from the House of Savoy, and Torino!!!
I discovered Cascina Bella Vista on a lark. My wife's father traced his ancestry back to Piedmont (as we called it in America), and we wanted to explore it. Where to stay? No idea. So I googled Piedmont, saw b&b's in Piemontese towns, and came across Asti. Now, very early on in our marriage, we, in our uninformed state regarding wines, ask for a recommendation for a Friday night supper of shrimp, crackers and cheeses, etc. The merchant sold us a bottle of Asti Spumante. Treasured the memory of that wine for over forty years, so, when I spied the town of Asti, there was an instant attraction. I sent off for information to all the b&b's in Asti, and, within minutes received a response from the Cascina Bella Vista. The rest was an unforgettable experience which we are hoping to repeat again this September.
Peggy and Jason are like family to us now. -
